Elizabethton

Sabine Hill in Elizabethton, Tennessee, also known as Happy Valley or Watauga Point, was built in 1796. It was listed on the National Register of... Historic Places in 1973. It was saved from demolition and purchased by the Tennessee Historical Commission in 2007. Plans call for it to eventually become a unit of Sycamore Shoals State Park.
