By 1969, Presley was no longer an unwelcome upstart to conservative Vegas audiences. Rather, he was exactly what Vegas loves best: a long-established star who put on a very big show. ELVIS IN PERSON contains highlights of the last five nights of Presley's month-long stint at the International Hotel, and it documents his Vegas show in its nascent stages. For this engagement, Presley featured more of his own hits than he would in the future.
