The ENCORE ENUWI-NX2, 802.11n Wireless USB adapter is fully compliant with IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0, which provides users in launching IEEE 802.11n wireless networks at up to 300 Mbps speed in the 2.4GHz band. It is also backward-compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g wireless devices at 11/54 Mbps speed. It can be configured to connect to an ad-hoc network mode, connecting to other 2.4GHz wireless devices and computers, or to the Infrastructure network mode to connect to a wireless AP or wireless router for internet access. This USB adapter includes a convenient Utility Software for scanning available wireless networks and an option in saving profiles of the preferred networks of the user's usual wireless connection.
