Comcast Arena at Everett is a $83.3 million dollar muti-purpose complex, in Everett, Washington, designed and developed by the City of Everett... Public Facilities District. The arena opened in September 2003. The 10,000-seat venue has hosted a variety of concerts and other types of performances. A few events that have showcased at Comcast Arena at Everett include Ringling Brothers Circus, moto cross, and family shows such as Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters, Sesame Street Live and a myriad of others. The venue served as the host for 2008 Skate America, a three-day ice-skating championship featuring world class skaters. The events were both nationally and internationally televised on NBC. It was the first event of six in the 2008-2009 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition. This was Skate America's largest attendance ever recorded in its history. Comcast Arena is the home of the Everett Silvertips, a Western Hockey League franchise. In their first season the Everett Silvertips were led by former NHL Head Coach Kevin Constantine, to win the WHL Western Conference Championship.

The Edward D. Hansen Conference Center is a $12 million addition to the Comcast Arena at Everett. This three-story facility includes an... 11,385-square-foot ballroom capable of accommodating 800 guests for sit down meals and divisible into four rooms. The Conference Center hosts over 200 events per year ranging from banquets,trade shows, receptions, parties and much more.In addition to the ballroom, three executive meeting rooms ranging from 700-900 square feet provide private and well-appointed meeting space. The Conference Center is also the home for the City of Everett’s collection of art masterpieces including the Pilchuk Glass Collection. Centerplate is the official concessionaire for the Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center.

Everett Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Everett, Washington, USA. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Everett AquaSox... minor league baseball team. It opened in 1984 and was remodeled in 1998, and it currently holds 3,682 people. It is also home to the Puget Sound Festival of Bands, an annual marching band competition. Everett Memorial Stadium is also used for home athletic events for Everett Public Schools, hosting football and soccer games as well as Track meets. In 1987 while with the Bellingham Mariners, Ken Griffey Jr. hit his first professional HR here. There is a plaque located where the ball landed outside the park.

Championship , Couture became a three-time heavyweight champion, two-time light-heavyweight champion, an interim light-heavyweight champion, and was the UFC 13 tournament winner. Couture is the first fighter to hold two UFC championship titles in two different divisions . Couture has competed in a record 15 title fights. He holds the most title reigns in the UFC with five. His last fight with Lyoto Machida marked his 24th fight in the UFC, the third most amount of fights in the UFC . Couture is one of the first members of the UFC Hall of Fame. Couture was an Olympic wrestling alternate and has lived in Corvallis, Oregon, throughout much of his career, where he served as an assistant wrestling coach and a strength and conditioning coach for Oregon State University.

She was the wife of Daniel Greene, a Navy man stationed in the Territory of Hawaii when the attack on Pearl Harbor occurred. She was married to Chester Phillips in the 1950s, during which time she suffered a near-fatal bout of "polio and a serious abdominal infection". Both marriages ended in divorce. She had three daughters, Elizabeth, Kathy, and Virginia, and a son, Arthur. She lived with Kathy, Virginia and Arthur in Santa Cruz, California, in the early to mid-1960s. Her oldest daughter, Elisabeth, had left the household. She worked as an accountant at Sweet Service in Santa Cruz during that time. She was involved with local theatrical groups; her favorite play was Bell, Book and Candle.

Carol Kaye is an American musician, best known as one of the most prolific and widely heard bass guitarists in history, playing on an estimated... 10,000 recording sessions in a 55 year career. As a session musician, Kaye was the bassist on many Phil Spector and Brian Wilson productions in the 1960s and 1970s. She played guitar on Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" and is credited with the bass tracks on several Simon & Garfunkel hits and many film scores by Quincy Jones and Lalo Schifrin. Among her most often cited work Kaye anchored the Beach Boys' album Pet Sounds. Kaye was born in Everett, Washington to professional musicians Clyde and Dot Smith. She grew up in poverty near the Port of Los Angeles and in 1949 at the age of fourteen began teaching guitar professionally. Throughout the 1950s, Kaye played bebop jazz guitar in dozens of nightclubs around Los Angeles with many noted bands including Bob Neal's jazz group, Jack Sheldon backing Lenny Bruce, Teddy Edwards and Billy Higgins. By her own account, Kaye got into lucrative studio work "accidentally" in late 1957 with Sam Cooke.

Chris Miller is an American animator, director, screenwriter, storyboard artist, and voice actor. He is most famous for directing Shrek the Third and... Puss in Boots, and for voicing Kowalski in the Madagascar film series. He studied animation at the California Institute of Arts, and joined Dreamworks SKG in 1998 as a storyboard artist for the studio's first animated comedy, Antz. Miller, again working as a story artist for Shrek, also wrote additional dialogue and provided the voice of the Magic Mirror and Geppetto characters for the film. He then served as head of story for Shrek 2. Mr. Miller went on to co-direct Shrek the Third along with Raman Hui, writing the screenplay for the film, and providing the voice of the puppet master and the mascot. He also provided the voice for Kowalski in Madagascar , The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and Merry Madagascar . Miller has worked on a wide array of features, commercials, videos and internet projects, including a short for Steven Spielberg entitled "Steven’s Dream.
