Every Secret Thing is a 1982 autobiography by Patricia Hearst, co-authored by Alvin Moscow. It tells how Hearst was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army and manipulated into joining them and living as a fugitive from justice for over a year. The book was made into the film Patty Hearst in 1988, and around that time the book was re-released as Patty Hearst - Her Own Story.
