Jonathan Sturges was a business man and patron of the arts. He was also the grandson of Jonathan Sturges, a member of the Continental Congress. The house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1994.

The David Ogden House located in Fairfield, Connecticut was built in 1750 as an integral saltbox. . The house is an exceptional survivor of a typical... mid 18th century Connecticut farmhouse. There is a massive central field stone chimney topped with brick. The house, which escaped the burning of Fairfield by the British forces that invaded during the American Revolution, provides a glimpse into the life of a typical family. The house was called the new house in a 1750 deed. It is believed that the house was built for David Ogden at the time of his marriage to Jane Sturges. For the next 125 years it was home for the Ogden family in this farming and coastal shipping town. The house fell into disrepair and was donated to the Fairfield Historical Society. Presently, the house serves as a museum for the Fairfield Historical Society, which also operates the Fairfield Museum and History Center.

Chris Frantz is an American musician and record producer. He was the drummer for both Talking Heads and the Tom Tom Club. He graduated from Shady... Side Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and David Byrne met in the early 1970s at the Rhode Island School of Design. They formed a band called the Artistics, which evolved over time into Talking Heads. Frantz also convinced his girlfriend Tina Weymouth to join the band as bass guitarist. They were married in 1977. Members of the Compass Point All Stars family, Frantz and Weymouth formed the Tom Tom Club in 1980, which kept them busy during a fairly long hiatus in Talking Heads activity. Weymouth, Frantz, and Jerry Harrison reunited as The Heads for a one-off album called No Talking, Just Head in 1996, featuring a rotating cast of vocalists, including Debbie Harry. He and Weymouth produced The Happy Mondays' 1992 album, Yes Please!. Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth recently contributed backing vocals and percussion for Damon Albarn's alternative rock virtual band, Gorillaz.

Justin Jacob Long is an American film, television and voice actor. He is best known for his roles in the films Galaxy Quest, Jeepers Creepers,... Dodgeball, Live Free or Die Hard, He's Just Not That into You and Drag Me to Hell, and his personification of a Mac in Apple's "Get a Mac" advertising campaign. Long, the middle of three brothers, was born in Fairfield, Connecticut. His father, Raymond James Long, is a philosophy and Latin professor at Fairfield University, and his mother, Wendy Lesniak, is a former actress who has mostly appeared on stage. Long had a conservative Roman Catholic upbringing. His grandmother is Sicilian. His older brother, Damian, is a local stage actor as well as a teacher and theater director at Weston High School. His younger brother, Christian, appears in Justin's film Accepted as the school mascot. Long attended Fairfield College Preparatory School, a Jesuit school, and Vassar College, where he was a member of the sketch comedy group Laughingstock and starred in several plays, including Butterflies Are Free. Long worked at Sacred Heart University as an acting instructor/counselor for a children's theater group.

John Clayton Mayer is an American pop and blues rock musician, singer-songwriter, recording artist, and music producer. Born in Bridgeport,... Connecticut and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He moved to Atlanta in 1997, where he refined his skills and gained a following, and he now lives in New York City. His first two studio albums, Room for Squares and Heavier Things, did well commercially, achieving multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Your Body Is a Wonderland." Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard throughout his 2005 live album Try! with the John Mayer Trio and his third studio album Continuum, released in September 2006. At the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 Mayer won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change".

Martina Michèle "Tina" Weymouth is an American musician, best known as a founding member and bassist of the New Wave group Talking Heads and... its side project Tom Tom Club . Weymouth is of French heritage on her mother's side. Weymouth was a cheerleader in high school. As a bass guitarist, she combined the minimalist art-punk basslines of groups such as Wire and Pere Ubu with danceable, funk-inflected riffs to provide the bedrock of Talking Heads signature sound. Her sound is often very syncopated in feel, combining low fundamental notes with higher flourishes in clipped, staccato rhythms. Weymouth joined Talking Heads as bass guitarist at the request of then-boyfriend, Chris Frantz. Full members of the Compass Point All Stars, Weymouth and Frantz formed the Tom Tom Club in 1980, which kept them busy during a fairly long hiatus in Talking Heads activity.

Matthew Thomas Morgan is an American professional wrestler, currently signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan.... After a successful high school basketball career at Fairfield High School in Connecticut, Morgan played Division I college basketball with Monmouth University at center position. During Morgan's freshman year at the university, the Monmouth Hawks defeated Rider University to become the Northeast Conference champions. By winning the conference tournament, Morgan received an automatic bid to the 1996 NCAA tournament. Of his trip to the tournament, Morgan said, "it was fun to be able to say that you actually played in the NCAA tournament and actually got some minutes. I didn’t score, but at least I got in as a freshman, which was cool." Monmouth lost to Marquette University in the first round of the tournament by a final score of 68 - 44. Following a coaching change at Monmouth, Morgan transferred to Chaminade University in Hawaii, where he finished his college basketball career and graduated magna cum laude.

Franco Ventriglia is an opera singer who sang bass in every major European opera house for over twenty years during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He... returned to the U.S. in 1978 and continued performing there and in southeast Asia until his retirement at age 79. Franco Ventriglia was born in 1922 in Fairfield, Connecticut. He grew up on a truck farm and was graduated from high school there in 1941. He enlisted in the Marine Corps serving in the First Marine Aircraft Wing in the South Pacific during World War II. After returning from the war, he was working at his brother's filling station in Easton, Connecticut when Mario Pagano, a maestro de Canto at the American Theatre Wing Professional School heard from one of Ventriglia's coworkers about his singing talent. Ventriglia passed an audition and went on to attend ATW's Professional School on the G.I. Bill, crossing paths with classmate Marlon Brando, among others. Ventriglia worked as an inspector at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in Stratford, CT and sang in local concerts.

Linda Kozlowski is an American actress. She has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Kozlowski was born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut to... a Polish American family. She is 1976 graduate of Fairfield's Andrew Warde High School. Kozlowski graduated from the Juilliard School's drama division in 1981, where one of her classmates was Val Kilmer. Kozlowski debuted in the 1981–1982 off-Broadway production, How It All Began. She played "Miss Forsythe" on Broadway in Death of a Salesman and in 1984 took the same role in the film version of 1985. Her big break came in 1986 when she was cast as the female lead opposite Paul Hogan in the Australian film Crocodile Dundee, in which their on-screen chemistry spilled over into a real relationship. They had initially met in Litomyšl, Czech Republic while wine-tasting. Two years later, she revisited her starring role with Hogan in Crocodile Dundee II. Also in 1988 she starred with Bill Paxton, Tim Curry and Annie Potts in Pass the Ammo. Since that time, she has appeared in Almost an Angel in 1990, Backstreet Justice and The Neighbour in 1994, and Village of the Damned in 1995.
