Farnham is a town in Surrey, England, within the Borough of Waverley. The town is situated some 42 miles southwest of London in the extreme west of Surrey, adjacent to the border with Hampshire. By road Guildford is 11 miles to the east and Winchester 28 miles to the southwest. Farnham is the largest town in Waverley, with a total resident population of 38,000 people.
