Jerry Lee Lewis is an American rock and roll and country music singer-songwriter and pianist. He is known by the nickname "The Killer". An early... pioneer of rock and roll music, Lewis had hits in the late 1950s with songs such as "Great Balls of Fire", "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", "Breathless" and "High School Confidential". However, Lewis' rock 'n' roll career faltered in the wake of his marriage to his young cousin. He had little success in the charts following the scandal until his popularity recovered in the late 1960s after he extended his career to country and western music with songs such as "Another Place, Another Time". More country hits soon followed over the late 1960s and through the 1970s. Lewis's successes continued throughout the decade and he embraced his rock 'n' roll past with songs such as a cover of the Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace" and "Rockin' My Life Away". In the 21st century Lewis continues to tour to audiences around the world and still releases new albums. One such new album, titled Last Man Standing, is his best selling to date at over a million copies sold worldwide.

Swaggart was born in Ferriday, Louisiana, to Willie Leon and Minnie Belle Swaggart. He is the cousin of rock'n'roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis and country music star Mickey Gilley. With his parents, Swaggart attended a small, 25-member Assemblies of God congregation in Ferriday. At the age of nine, he began to preach on street corners and lead congregations in singing.

Brown won an Emmy as part of the NBC team reporting on Hurricane Katrina while with NBC. On May 18, 2010, Brown announced that she would be leaving CNN. Campbell Brown was born Alma Dale Campbell Brown on June 14, 1968 in Ferriday, Louisiana, the daughter of former Louisiana Democratic State Senator, Secretary of State, and Insurance Commissioner James H. "Jim" Brown Jr., and Brown's first wife, artist Dale Campbell Fairbanks. According to Brown, "Alma Dale" was her grandmother's name, while "Campbell" was her mother's birth surname. Brown was raised Roman Catholic, though her father is Presbyterian. She has two sisters. She grew up in Ferriday, Louisiana and attended Trinity Episcopal Day School. She was also a cheerleader. She was expelled from the elite Madeira School for sneaking off campus to go to a party. Brown attended Louisiana State University for two years before graduating from Regis University.

Mickey Leroy Gilley is an American country music singer and musician. Although he started out singing straight-up country and western material in... the 1970s, he moved towards a more pop-friendly sound in the 1980s, bringing him further success on not just the country charts, but the pop charts as well. Among his biggest hits are "Room Full of Roses," "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time," and the remake of the Soul hit "Stand by Me". He is also the cousin of Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl McVoy, Jim Gilley and Jimmy Swaggart. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, Gilley is a licensed pilot, who holds an instrument rating with commercial pilot privileges for multi-engine airplanes, as well as private pilot privileges for single engine aircraft. He was born to Arthur Fillmore Gilley and Irene Gilley in Natchez, the seat of Adams County in western Mississippi. For many years, Gilley lived in the shadow of his cousin, Jerry Lee Lewis, the rock and roll singer and musician in the 1950s. The two as children grew up close by each other; Gilley lived just across the Mississippi River from Louisiana where Lewis grew up.

Dale Houston was an American singer who, along with his performing partner, Grace Broussard, got to the top of the Billboard chart as Dale &... Grace with two rock and roll hits. The first was the gold record one million seller "I'm Leaving It Up to You" in 1963. "Stop and Think It Over" reached #8 in 1964. In his later years, Houston was reunited on stage several times with Broussard. Robert Dale Houston was born to Claude Houston and the former Essie Walters in Seminary, a small town in Covington County in southern Mississippi. He was delivered by a midwife on the family's kitchen table. The Houstons thereafter moved to nearby Collins, the seat of Covington County, where the senior Houston surrendered to the Christian ministry. Young Dale began piano lessons in 6th grade, but family financial difficulties halted his training after 3 months and he was self-taught from then on, honing his skills by playing and singing in church. At age 18, Houston recorded "Lonely Man," which reached #75 nationally. In 1960, while he was performing in Baton Rouge, record executive Sam Montel caught Houston's act in a local bar.

Linda Gail Lewis is an American singer and pianist. She is the sister of Jerry Lee Lewis. She plays piano and has recorded with Stephen Ackles, Van... Morrison, and with her brother. She also has recorded with her two daughters MaryJean Ferguson, and Annie Marie Dolan in a group called The Lewis 3. She is married to Eddie Braddock, former Stax promotions director.
