Rose Hill Manor is a historic home located at Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland. It is a 2 ⁄2-story brick house. A notable feature is the... large two-story pedimented portico supported by fluted Doric columns on the first floor and Ionic columns on the balustraded second floor. It was the retirement home of Thomas Johnson , the first elected Governor of the State of Maryland and Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. It was built in the mid 1790s by his daughter and son-in-law. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The house is now owned by the county and is operated as part of Rose Hill Manor Park & Children's Museum. The house presents the daily life of Thomas Johnson, Maryland’s first Governor. The Children's Museum features hands-on displays of Colonial domestic life. The Farm Museum displays include tractors, 19th and early 20th century agriculture tools and equipment, farm family life, a carpentry shop and a broom shop. The Robert H. Renneberger Carriage Museum features a collection of restored carriages and sleighs. In addition to the house, the property includes an icehouse, log cabin, blacksmith shop and two barns.

Loats Female Orphan Asylum of Frederick City is a historic home and former orphanage building located at Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland. The small addition on the east end of the house served as an office for the original owner, John Baltzell, M.D. . The house's third owner, John Loats, established in his will of 1879, the Loats Female Orphan Asylum of Frederick City. It currently serves as headquarters to the Historical Society of Frederick County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

It is a late-19th century example of the Maryland Piedmont farmhouse. The dwelling was built in 1889 by the Wolfe family, who owned the property until 1936. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Bobby Steggert is an American theatre, musical theatre, television, and film actor. Bobby Steggert was born in Frederick, Maryland. He attended... Frederick High School, and graduated in 1999 as valedictorian of his class. Steggert graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England His brother, David, works at Walmac Farm in Lexington, KY. Steggert joined the cast of the soap opera "All My Children" as Sam Grey , from March 2005 until his final appearance on December 20, 2005. After appearing in, among other Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, Master Harold and the Boys "A Christmas Carol," The New Group's The Music Teacher and columbinus at the New York Theater Workshop, Steggert starred as Jimmy Curry in the 2007 Broadway revival of the musical 110 in the Shade, a role which garnered him an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination. Steggert then played the male lead in the 2008 musical The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island at the Vineyard Theater in Manhattan which garnered him both Drama Desk and Drama League Nominations for Best Supporting Actor.

He grew up in the Loch Haven neighborhood of Ijamsville, Maryland, attended New Market Middle School, and graduated from Linganore High School. Larry James, who still resides in Frederick, MD, was his high school basketball coach. Larry says that "he was a star in his own right" on and off the court. Hatosy's middle name, Wayne, is taken from his father. . Hatosy was raised Roman Catholic; his mother served on the Parish Council at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Ijamsville. Shawn is married and has a son, and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. Hatosy's two most recent films are Public Enemies , starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, and the remake of the 1992 cult classic Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans , in which Hatosy portrays Nicolas Cage's partner, Armand Benoit.
