Freeze Frame is a psychological thriller film written and directed by John Simpson, and starring comedian Lee Evans in a rare dramatic role. The film was shot in Crumlin Road Jail in Belfast Northern Ireland. Although set in modern-day England, the film has a somewhat dystopian look, as pointed out by Los Angeles Times critic Kevin Crust in his review of the film.
