Fremont

Mission San José was founded on June 11, 1797 on a site located in the "Mission San Jose District" of Fremont, California in the "Valley of San... José." The settlement was the site of the first Ceasarian section childbirth in Alta California. The Mission entered a long period of gradual decline after secularization in 1834, though numerous restoration efforts in the intervening periods have reconstructed many of the original structures. The original padre's quarters are now a small museum; Saint Joseph's Church at the Mission San José is today a local parish church of the Diocese of Oakland.The church has a regular schedule and also has a visitors' center, museum and slide show telling the history of the mission. In the early part of the 1900s a sign was erected on the roof of the museum which read "Mission San Jose de Guadalupe" . Regrettably, this misnomer is often used by authors and even government agencies to this day when referring to the installation.

Len Ryan Wiseman is an American film director best known for his work on the Underworld series and Live Free or Die Hard. His latest project, Total... Recall, is set for release in summer 2012. He is married to English actress Kate Beckinsale and they live in Los Angeles, California with Beckinsale's daughter, Lily Mo Sheen. He began his career in film as a property assistant on a number of Roland Emmerich films: Stargate , Independence Day and Godzilla . After creating advertisements for clients including PlayStation, he directed music videos for artists such as Megadeth, En Vogue and Static-X. He received a Best Art Direction nomination for Quarashi's "Stick 'Em Up" at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards and a Best Director nomination for Rufus Wainwright's "Across the Universe" at the Music Video Production Association Awards. In 2003, Wiseman co-created and directed the film, Underworld. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film did well at the box office and has gained a cult following. He directed the 2006 sequel, Underworld: Evolution and acted as producer for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and Underworld: Awakening.

Julie Pinson is an American soap opera actress who portrayed the role of Billie Reed on Days of our Lives. Julie most recently appeared on As the... World Turns in the role of "Juicy" Janet Ciccone. Pinson is also known for her role as Dr. Eve Lambert Collins Thornhart on Port Charles, a role she played from the show's inception on June 1, 1997, until her character was killed off on April 1, 2002. In early 2004, she played record producer Shiloh on The Young and the Restless, a role which lasted for twelve episodes. In September 2004, Pinson debuted on Days of our Lives in the role of Billie Reed when Lisa Rinna, who had originated the role, declined to return and after Krista Allen who had the role for a few years left. She left Days on February 5, 2008. She debuted on her emmy award winning As the World Turns role on May 8, 2008. After production wrapped on As the World Turns in September 2010, Pinson joined the cast of River Ridge: The Series as Kimberly Reeves. The new series is about a small town and its inhabitants. As a child, Pinson was inspired by her mother, a classically trained opera singer, to get into acting.

Ryan Sinn is the former bassist for the alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves and The Distillers. he joined Love Equals Death, after Dominic... Davi's departure. On March 4, 2008, Love Equals Death lead singer, Chon Travis posted on the band's Myspace blog that Sinn had left the band on good terms. Sinn joined The Distillers after their first album had been made. At the time he only played guitar, but he learned to play the bass parts on their previous album in four days and was asked to join the band after he auditioned. He appeared on the group's second and third albums. The band experienced some turmoil in 2005, and Sinn announced that he had left the band on his MySpace page in August of that year. After leaving The Distillers, Sinn was recruited by Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge to join his new project, Angels & Airwaves. He played bass on the bands 2006 release We Don't Need to Whisper. However in April 2007, rumors spread that Sinn had left Angels & Airwaves due to difficulties with the rest of the band. In May, these rumors were confirmed by Sinn.

Meagan Yvonne Tandy is an American actress and model. She was Miss California USA 2007 who was one of 5 finalists competing for the Miss USA title... in 2007. She placed 8th in swimsuit which advanced her to the top 10 and then placed 4th in evening gown, which gave her enough points to make the top 5. She finished as 3rd runner up to Rachel Smith, Miss Tennessee USA 2007 and Miss USA 2007. Tandy, born in Fremont, California and raised in Fontana, graduated from Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga in 2003. She is a student at Chaffey College, and is the first student from this school to win the Miss California USA title. Tandy won the Miss California USA 2007 title in a state pageant held in San Rafael, California on October 15, 2006. It was her second attempt at the title, as she has placed fourth runner-up to Tamiko Nash the year previously. Her sister titleholder, Kylee Lin of San Rafael also placed fourth runner-up in last years competition. Tandy also won the Best Swimsuit Award in the 2007 Miss California USA pageant.
