Dr Pepper Ballpark is the home ballpark of the Frisco RoughRiders Class AA minor league baseball club. Located in Frisco, Texas in the United... States, the stadium has a capacity of 10,316. The ballpark is host to numerous functions in addition to minor league baseball games, including corporate and charity events, wedding receptions, city of Frisco events, and church services. Local soft drink manufacturer Dr Pepper Snapple Group holds naming rights and exclusive non-alcoholic beverage rights in the park. Since its opening in 2003, the Dr Pepper Ballpark has won awards and garnered praise for its unique design, feel, and numerous facilities. In his design, park architect David M. Schwarz desired the creation of a village-like "park within a park". Dr Pepper Ballpark received the 2003 Texas Construction award for Best Architectural Design and was named the best new ballpark in the country by BaseballParks.com. In 2001, Mandalay Sports Entertainment, owner of the Shreveport SwampDragons Class AA baseball team, reached an agreement with Southwest Sports Group to move the team to Frisco for the 2003 baseball season.

The Dr Pepper Arena is a multi-purpose arena located in Frisco, Texas at the corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Gaylord Ave. It is the home to... the Texas Tornado team of the North American Hockey League and the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League as well as the practice facility home to the NHL Dallas Stars. In the spring of 2012 it will become home to the Frisco Falcons of the Lone Star Football League. The arena is also used for concerts and other live entertainment events. It seats between 5,000 and 7,000 people and has a 2,100 vehicle parking garage. The arena's south parking lot serves as the Metroplex venue for Cirque du Soleil's Grand Chapiteau shows while the arena itself is the Metroplex venue for its arena shows. The Dr Pepper Snapple Group has held naming rights to the arena since it opened, but the arena was originally known as the Deja Blue Arena as Dr Pepper chose to promote its brand of bottled water. The Dr Pepper Arena was the former home of the Frisco Thunder team of the Intense Football League. The arena will host the 2012 Robertson Cup Tournament to decide the champion of the NAHL. This will be the 2nd time the venue has hosted the event.

Stonebriar Centre is a shopping mall located at the intersection of SH 289 and SH 121 in Frisco, Texas . It contains six major department store... anchors, a 24-screen movie theater, an NHL size ice arena, and a total of 165 tenants renting over 1,630,000 square feet gross leasable area. The mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and on Sundays from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. In the 1980s Frisco government leaders realized they needed an economic engine, something that attracted not only people, but money. They decided there was no greater economic driver in North Texas than a shopping mall. In 1988, Jerry Rosenholtz of Homart, the parent company of Sears, planned on putting a million square foot mall in Frisco, a town of about 6,000 people. When Plano learned of Homart's plan they offered $10 million if the company would move its planned mall across the road into their city limits. Frisco battled to keep the planned mall and was able to work out tax incentives to close the deal. Plano then convinced another company, General Growth Properties, to place a mall within their city limits.
