Fox Theatre is a movie theater located on Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, California. Built in 1925 as part of the chain of Fox Theatres, the theater... was closed and abandoned in 1987. The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation is currently in the process of fundraising and restoring the theater. The Fox Theatre was originally commissioned by C. Stanley Chapman to show vaudeville performances and silent movies. The theater was designed by architect Raymond M. Kennedy of the firm Meyer & Holler, who later designed Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The original name of the theater was the Alician Court Theatre, in honor of Chapman's wife, Alice. An official landmark of the City of Fullerton since 1990, the Fox Theatre was added to the National Register of Historic Places in October 2006. In 2005 the city of Fullerton began to show movies in the rear parking lot to raise funds for the restoration, projecting the film onto the outer wall of the theater, and in 2006 Los Angeles magazine named it as one of LA's strangest places to see films. The Fox Theatre has lavish interior design in the Italian Renaissance style, and is approached through a spacious courtyard open to the street.

Titan Gym is a 4,000 seat, indoor multi-purpose stadium on the campus of California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, California. Titan Gym... was built in 1964. Twenty years later, the gym hosted handball competitions for the 1984 Summer Olympics. Olympic athletes haven't been the only famous people to grace Titan Gym though. Ronald Reagan spoke on behalf of the Bush/Quayle campaign in 1988, his last Orange County appearance as President of the United States. In order to combat the old age, as well as wear and tear, on Titan Gym there have been a number of recent improvements made. Bleachers, which were used to seat the attendees, have been replaced with chair-back seats. The floor was completely redesigned and resurfaced. A new scoreboard was unveiled before the 2003 season and additional balcony seating was added before the start of the 2004 season. For the Cal State Fullerton Titans athletes, Titan Gym is the home to a practice floor for the basketball and volleyball programs as well as additional practice rooms for wrestling, women's gymnastics, and fencing.

Titan Stadium is a 10,000 seat multi-purpose stadium on the campus of California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, California. Scheduled to... open in time for the 1991 football season, delays caused the opening date of Titan Stadium to be pushed back until 1992. Despite originally being planned as the home stadium for the Cal State Fullerton Titans football program, the delays in stadium construction put in question the possibility of the team actually taking the field. Budget cuts and strict NCAA regulations eventually signaled the end of the football program in 1992, making Titan Stadium one of the most lavish soccer stadiums in Southern California. Titan Stadium has 2,000 chairback seats and 2,500 bleachers seats with backrests on the western side of the stadium. In addition, there are concrete steps on the opposite side which can hold nearly 5,000 extra people. The pitch features an underground drainage system that allows it to be almost perfectly flat. The main press box seats over 50 people and features 10 separate booths used for broadcasting, hospitality, etc.

Goodwin Field is a stadium in Fullerton, California. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of both the four-time champion Cal State... Fullerton Titans baseball team of the NCAA's Big West Conference and Orange County Flyers minor league baseball teams. It holds 3,500 people. It is named for Jerry and Merilyn Goodwin, who gave $1 million toward a $3 million campaign for major renovations. In 2011, the Titans ranked 31st in Division I college baseball in attendance, averaging 2,028 per home game.

Mike Ness is an American guitarist, vocalist, and chief songwriter for the punk rock band Social Distortion, which was formed in 1978. As of Dennis... Danell's death in 2000, he is the only remaining original member of the band. Ness—born in Stoneham, Massachusetts as the elder of two boys , and raised in Orange County, California—was kicked out of his father's home in Fullerton at 15. During his early years, he was raised on the blues, country and early rock n' roll. As he drifted around Orange County, Ness became involved in the punk rock scene, after being moved by bands of that ilk. In the 1980s, Ness was the original renter of the one-bedroom apartment described in The Adolescents song "Kids of the Black Hole". The punk house is located in Fullerton, California and still exists today. Ness founded Social Distortion in 1978, releasing the Mainliner/Playpen 7" record on Robbie Field's indie label Posh Boy Records in 1981. Two years later, they released the album Mommy's Little Monster on 13th Floor Records, which was owned by Monk Rock, their manager at the time.

Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers organization, the longest non-continuous tenure anyone has had with the team, edging Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully by a single season. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a manager in 1997. He was played by actor Arthur J. Nascarella in the ESPN mini-series The Bronx is Burning. Tommy Lasorda signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an undrafted free agent in 1945 and began his professional career with the Concord Weavers in 1945. He then missed the 1946 & 1947 seasons because of a stint in the United States Army. He served on active duty from October 1945 until spring 1947. He returned to baseball in 1948 with the Schenectady Blue Jays of the Canadian-American League. On May 31, 1948, he struck out 25 Amsterdam Rugmakers in a 15-inning game setting a professional record , and drove in the winning run with a single.

Standing 6 feet, 7 inches tall and possessing a great curveball as well as a good fastball, Witt's breakout season came in 1984 when he went 15-11 for the Angels. On July 23 of that year, he struck out sixteen Seattle Mariners during a complete game five-hitter; but the highlight of the year came on the final day of the season, September 30, when he pitched the eleventh perfect game in baseball history against the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium. He struck out ten and needed just 94 pitches to complete the gem. Witt's perfect game is, to date, one of two no-hitters ever pitched on the final day of a Major League Baseball regular season, the other being the combined no-hitter pitched by Vida Blue, Glenn Abbott, Paul Lindblad and Rollie Fingers for the Oakland Athletics on September 28, 1975. He was also the first pitcher to hurl a perfect game by a 1-0 score since Sandy Koufax .

McDonald... joined the show during the fourth season and remained in the cast until the end of the thirteenth and penultimate season, having become the longest-tenured cast member. While on the show, he developed many memorable characters. He was a contributing writer and director on MADtv. McDonald has also directed several episodes of the NBC, now ABC, comedy-drama series Scrubs, on which he has guest-starred 6 times. McDonald currently divides his time between writing, directing, and acting on various film and television projects, as well as performing live on stage across the country. McDonald graduated from St. Juliana Catholic Elementary School in Fullerton, California and later went to Servite High School in Anaheim, California, and graduated from the University of Southern California with a business degree. While at USC, he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He worked as a loan officer at a bank in Los Angeles. After college, a friend took McDonald to see an improv comedy show at Groundling Theater.

Eric Matthew Stefani is an American musician, composer, writer and animator, best known as a former member of the pop rock band No Doubt. He is the... older brother of Gwen Stefani and is also a former animator on the animated sitcom The Simpsons. Stefani attended Loara High School in Anaheim, California. He worked at a Dairy Queen with his sister Gwen and John Spence; the three of them formed the band No Doubt. He studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts, but left in 1991. The group added several members, performing live shows at Fenders Ballroom in Long Beach. The group started writing original material, much of which Eric contributed. Eric left after the band's breakthrough album Tragic Kingdom was recorded. He and Gwen were nominated at the 1998 Grammy Awards for Song of the Year for "Don't Speak". Eric found time between Cypress College and the band to get brief encounters working as a layout animator for cartoon director John Kricfalusi through Lynne Naylor including Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures, Beany and Cecil and the Troop Beverly Hills title sequence.

Stacey Q is a pop singer, dancer and actress. She is best known for her 1985 hit single "Two of Hearts". Stacey Swain was born on November 30, 1958... in Fullerton, California. She is the youngest of three children. Her mother, Joyce Swain, was a dog breeder whose Cardigan Welsh Corgis have appeared in various Hollywood films and television series. Swain once stated in a 1989 interview that she had asked for dance lessons as early as age three, but her mother "made me wait until I was five". By 1963, Swain was studying classical ballet and aspired to become a ballerina. In 1969, at age ten, Swain became the youngest member of the Dance Theater of Orange County, a local company that performed at benefit shows in Anaheim. She spent a total of eleven years studying ballet and flamenco dancing. In 1970 Swain became an entertainer at Disneyland while completing dance training at the Wilshire Theater of Arts in Los Angeles. For three years, Swain participated in the Fantasy on Parade, an annual event scheduled every Christmas at the theme park. She performed in costume as the "Dutch Puppet", a name she used as a publishing alias during her early recording career.

Charlie Pecoraro is an Italian American stage, television, and film actor. Charlie Pecoraro was born into a family of noted performers and... musicians. He is the son of jazz guitarist Charles P. Pecoraro, the nephew of Actor/Dancer/Choreographer Steven Peck, nephew of opera singer Anna Pecoraro, and grandson of classical Sicilian mandolinist/vaudevillian George Pecora. Pecoraro grew up in Fullerton, CA where he attended Troy High School. Prior to beginning his career in acting, he graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He resides in Hollywood, California. Pecoraro is currently a series regular on an independent TV series Slacker P.I. appearing as Detective John Derringer, and has appeared in the 2009 film The Huntleigh Files and also on numerous TV shows such as Operation Repo. Furthermore, he has appeared in many TV commercials and short films. Pecoraro holds a BA in Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California. He is sometimes credited as Charles Pecoraro.
