Gachongil College is a private technical college in South Korea, providing instruction primarily in fields related to nursing. It is situated in Namdong-gu, in the metropolitan city of Incheon, in the country's northwest corner. It was founded in 1939 by Choe Jeong-hwan. It is closely connected with Gachon Medical School, and is supported by the Gachon Educational Foundation. It provides a mixture of two- and three-year programs. The campus is located in Ganseok-dong, Namdong-gu, not far from Sinyeonsu Station on the Incheon Subway. It lies near Yaksan Park, in a dense urban neighborhood. The... campus covers an area of 94,000 square metres. The school contains 22 academic departments, which are grouped into six divisions: Nursing, Health, Hospitality, Industry, Arts, and Social Practice. In its history, the college claims to have produced approximately 12,000 nurses, in addition to other graduates. The school was founded in 1939 as a training facility for nurses, attached to Gyeonggi Provincial Hospital in Incheon . In 1962, it officially became Gyeonggi Nursing School .
