Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Thomas 'Tommy' Vercetti is a fictional character in the Grand Theft Auto video game series. He serves as the protagonist, anti-hero and playable... character in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, where he emerges as the crime lord of his own syndicate. Tommy Vercetti indicates that his father worked all his life in a printing shop and, years later, he still has fond childhood memories of helping his father clean the rollers. Vercetti once had dreams of following in his father’s footsteps, but he has chosen a different path, instead becoming a criminal in the employment of the Forelli Family of the Liberty City Mafia. , becoming a made men for the Forelli's back in the late 60's and at the beginning of the 70's. Tommy was sent to prison in Liberty City in 1971 for multiple counts of homicide, apparently totaling eleven , which earned him the nickname “The Harwood Butcher,” a reference to the Liberty City neighborhood in which the murders had occurred.

An action-adventure game can be defined as a game with a mix of elements from an action game and an adventure game, especially crucial elements like... puzzles.  Action-adventures require many of the same physical skills as action games, but also offer a storyline, numerous characters, an inventory system, dialog, and other features of adventure games.  They are faster-paced than pure adventure games, because they include both physical and conceptual challenges.  Action-adventure games normally include a combination of a series complex story elements made into an audio-visual display for players that is heavily reliant upon the player character's movement which affects the flow of the game.  Some examples of action-adventure games include the The Legend of Zelda, and Tomb Raider series.

Rockstar Games is a major video game developer and publisher based in New York City, owned by Take-Two Interactive following its purchase of UK video game publisher BMG Interactive. The brand is mostly known for Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, L.A. Noire, The Warriors, Bully, Manhunt, Midnight Club,... State of Emergency, and Red Dead series and the use of open world, free roaming settings in their games. It comprises studios that have been acquired and renamed as well as others that have been created internally. While many of the studios Take-Two Interactive has acquired have been merged into the Rockstar brand, several other recent ones have retained their previous identities and have become part of the company's 2K Games division. The Rockstar Games label was founded in New York City in 1998 by the English video game producers Sam Houser, Dan Houser, Terry Donovan, Jamie King and Gary Foreman. The headquarters of Rockstar Games is located on Broadway in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City, part of the Take-Two Interactive offices. It is home to the marketing, public relations and product development departments.
