Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum is multi-purpose arena in Greenville, North Carolina, USA. The arena opened in 1968. It is home to the East... Carolina University Pirates men's and women's basketball teams. The facility underwent a complete renovation in the 1990s and currently seats 8,000 people. The building was named for the Minges and Williams families in honor of their longstanding support of the University.

Starting October 30, 2006, she took a leave of absence from Avenue Q to appear as Clea in the Playwright's Horizon's production of Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky. Faber returned to Avenue Q on December 19, 2006. Faber's last appearance in Avenue Q was on October 9, 2008. Faber has appeared in off-Broadway shows including Saved! at Playwright's Horizons, Slut, and The Tutor. Faber also previously worked in the TheatreWorks musical Junie B. Jones. Mary helped to develop the character of Natalie in Feeling Electric . She starred in The Corn is Green alongside Kate Burton at the Huntington Theater in Boston.

Barrett spent five years in prison for a 1993 armed robbery and on his release moved to New York City, where he met Black Rob and Busta Rhymes, and, according to legend, was signed by the A&R director of Jive Records after hearing him rapping in a club bathroom. After a few guest spots, his first solo single was "Raise Up" in 2001 at the age of 28, produced by Timbaland, followed by debut album Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry the same year. "Raise Up" was helped by rotation on MTV and heavy play on urban radio, reaching number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the Hot Rap Singles Chart. The release of his second album, Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry, was delayed until 2004. Lead single from the album, the sexually-explicit "Freek-a-Leek" was another major success, reaching #7 in the Hot 100, although little chart success followed. In 2005 Petey Pablo formed a relationship with Suge Knight, but never signed an official contract with his former label Death Row Records.

Billy Taylor was an American jazz pianist, composer, broadcaster and educator. He was the Robert L. Jones Distinguished Professor of Music at East... Carolina University in Greenville, and since 1994, he was the artistic director for jazz at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Taylor was a Jazz activist. He sat on the Honorary Founders Board of The Jazz Foundation of America. In 1989, Billy Taylor, Ann Ruckert, Herb Storfer and Phoebe Jacobs started The Jazz Foundation to save the homes and the lives of America's elderly jazz and blues musicians, later including musicians that survived Hurricane Katrina. Billy Taylor was also one of the foremost jazz educators. He lectured in colleges, served on panels and travelled worldwide as a jazz ambassador. Critic Leonard Feather once said, "It is almost indisputable that Dr. Billy Taylor is the world's foremost spokesman for jazz." Taylor was born in Greenville, North Carolina but moved to Washington, D.C. when he was five. He grew up in a musical family and learned to play different instruments as a child, including guitar, drums and saxophone.
