Auditorio Telmex is an indoor amphitheatre, located in Zapopan, Mexico. It can hold between 2,700 and 11,500 people, depending on the event. Telmex,... the largest communications company in Mexico, sponsored the auditorium and is one of the main centerpieces of the University Cultural Center, which is a large cultural project created by the University of Guadalajara. The building was designed by Mexican architect José de Arimatea Moyao and it's located on Parres Arias Av., in Zapopan. Throughout its short history, it has hosted a number of events and concerts and its considered the main show center in Western Mexico. On September 1, 2007 the auditorium was officially opened with a grand opening event hosted by Plácido Domingo. During its construction, the University of Guadalajara was supported by the federal government of Mexico, the government of Jalisco, the Municipality of Zapopan, the Chamber of Deputies of Congress and the state Congress. The auditorium is constructed to suit events both small and large as it is equipped with mechanically movable platforms and the sound stage can be adjusted in size by moving its movable walls.

Arena V.F.G. is an indoor arena located in Guadalajara, Mexico. The arena can accommodate between 3,500 and 15,000 people. It is mainly used for... sporting events and concerts. The arena is named after Mexican singer Vicente Fernández, using the initials V.F.G. to represent the singer's full name Vicente Fernández Gómez. The arena was the site for a fight between Mexican, Saul "El Canelo" Alvarez vs. Luciano Leonel Cuello of Argentina. The fight was the Main Event of a broadcast by Televisa. The Mexican fighter Alvarez beat Cuello by TKO in the sixth round. Vicente Fernández himself offered to give Alvarez a horse, when Vicente sat down for the post fight interview with Saul and Oscar De La Hoya. Artists, including Laura Pausini, KISS, Oasis, Paramore, Depeche Mode, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, t.A.T.u., Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, High School Musical, Jordan Pruitt, Sarah Brightman, Aerosmith, Heaven & Hell, Down, Morrissey, Gloria Gaynor, Guns N' Roses, Judas Priest, Keane, Korn, Iron Maiden , Rammstein, Celine Dion, and Megadeth have previously performed or are scheduled to perform at the arena.

Teatro Degollado is a neoclassical Mexican theater known for its diverse performances and artistic design. It is located on a downtown plaza on... Belen Street between Hidalgo Avenue and Morelos Avenue in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Many performances take place at this building. Meant to be a monument of Guadalajara's culture, the theater was inaugurated on September 1866; breathing life through its innovating artistic beauty. Degollado Theater came to be as a result of Mexico's 1800's theatrical movement. There was a high demand for a great theater in Guadalajara, Jalisco that displayed the cultural arts of the city. In response to the demand, on October 1, 1855, Antonio Perez Verdia proposed the construction of Alarcon Theater to the current governor of the time, Santos Degollado. By December 12 of that same year, Degollado signed the official decree to build the structure, and by March, 1856, Degollado set the first cornerstone of the building. Coming April 1856, Jacobo Galvez was appointed to lead the initial construction of the theater.

Erick Elías is a Mexican actor, model and singer. Erick Elias began his studies in acting, music, dance, and modeling at a very young age. He... moved to Mexico City, soon after graduating from high school. There, Elias became the lead voice of the pop music group Tierra Cero, giving him the opportunity to travel throughout Mexico and Central and South America. Shortly after, Elias made his Television debut, participating in shows such as Otro Rollo and Al Fin de Semana; as well as telenovelas like Amigos x Siempre and DKDA. Determined to broaden his horizons, Elias decided to move to the United States and continue his acting studies in California. He later moved to Miami, Florida, where he also continued his studies in industrial design. After being chosen by the US Hispanic audience as Telemundo's next telenovela star in the reality series Protagonistas de Novela 2, Elias is making made strides since his debut in one of the network's original productions Gitanas, which saw modest results in the ratings. He has also starred in El cuerpo del deseo. He is currently expecting his first child with his wife Karla Guindi.

Gael García Bernal is a Mexican film actor and director. García Bernal was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, the son of Patricia Bernal, an... actress and former model, and José Ángel García, an actor and director. His stepfather is Sergio Yazbek, whom his mother married when García Bernal was young. He started acting at just a year old and spent most of his teen years starring in telenovelas. Gael studied the International Baccalaureate, with chemistry being his favorite subject. When he was fourteen, he taught indigenous peoples in Mexico to read, often working with the Huichol Indians. In his later teens, he took part in peaceful demonstrations during the Chiapas uprising of 1994. García Bernal was becoming a soap opera heartthrob, but at age of 19, he left Mexico's television world to study acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, becoming the first person from Mexico to be accepted into the program. In the brief period beforehand, he had begun to study philosophy at UNAM, Mexico's national university, before a strike closed the college and he then left for London.

Iyari Pérez Limón is an actress best known for her supporting role as Potential Slayer Kennedy on the television series Buffy the Vampire... Slayer. Though born in Mexico, she moved to Los Angeles at the age of one. Limón has appeared in numerous TV commercials, both in Spanish and English. Among her credits are commercials for Toyota, Dr Pepper, and Always. During her screen test for the part of Carmen in The L Word, Limón ad libbed a Spanish phrase into Kate Moennig's ear . The phrase was written into the show, and later used in the series by Sarah Shahi's Carmen. Limón came out as bisexual in an interview with the website AfterEllen.com in April 2006, in which she stated that she was once married to Napoleon Dynamite actor Efren Ramirez and was, at the time of the interview, dating DJane Sandra Edge. In September 2007, AfterEllen.com further reported that Limon and Edge had ended their relationship, and that Limon was pregnant by her husband, Alejandro. Their daughter was born on Friday, August 24, 2007.

José Pablo Moncayo García was a Mexican pianist, percussionist, music teacher, composer and conductor. "As composer, José Pablo... Moncayo represents one of the most important legacies of the Mexican nationalism in art music, after Silvestre Revueltas and Carlos Chávez." He produced some of the masterworks that best symbolize the essence of the national aspirations and contradictions of Mexico in the 20th century. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, José Pablo Moncayo was introduced to music by his elder brother Francisco. Eduardo Hernández Moncada is reported as the first teacher of José Pablo Moncayo in 1926, when the teenager was fourteen years old. According to Aurelio Tello, Hernández Moncada suggested his pupil Moncayo study at the National Conservatory. Tello reports that Moncayo was admitted to the conservatory in 1929; meanwhile, in order to finance his studies, he worked as a jazz pianist. According to the research of Torres-Chibrás, different sources point out the fact that Moncayo took composition lessons with Candelario Huízar, and it is known that he continued his piano instruction with Hernández Moncada.

Susana Dosamantes , is a Mexican actress. She is the mother of Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio, and has worked in around 50 movies and TV series,... including a number of telenovelas . She is currently working on the soap-opera El Juramento. On January 11, 2011, her ex-husband died from kidney Cancer. In recent years Dosamantes has worked in the United States in order to be near her daughter, Paulina. Both Susana and Paulina now live in Miami, Florida.
