Harry Carey, Jr. is an American actor. He has appeared in over 90 films and numerous television series. Harry Carey, Jr. was born Henry G. Carey in Saugus, California, the son of actor Harry Carey and actress Olive Fuller Golden . As a boy, he was nicknamed "Dobe", short for adobe, because of the color of his hair. He served with the United States Navy during World War II. A respected character actor like his father, Carey appeared in several Westerns.
