Harvey is a 1998 American television fantasy film comedy directed by George Schaefer. It stars Harry Anderson and Leslie Nielsen. It is based on Mary Chase's play of the same name about a man whose best friend is a pooka named Harvey—in the form of a six-foot rabbit only he can see. Anderson plays the role of the eccentric Elwood P. Dowd. The 1998 television version for CBS was adapted for television by Joseph Dougherty. The film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
