Beverly Drive-In Theater was constructed in 1948 as a cinema structure in Forrest County, Mississippi. The main screen measured 105 feet by 75 feet ,... and the theater contained a paved parking area for 500 cars. The back of the screen tower held a display of neon lights that denoted the Beverly logo with a moon and shooting stars. The original owners built their family home beneath the main screen. The theater was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 30, 2008. The theater operated from 1948 through 1987, and periodically for special events, into 2005, when Hurricane Katrina caused significant damage to the screen and buildings. In 2005, it was the oldest drive-in theater still operating in Mississippi. The Beverly Drive-In Theater burned to the ground on October 30, 2010.

Brett Lorenzo Favre is a former American football quarterback who spent the majority of his career with the Green Bay Packers of the National... Football League . He was a 20-year veteran of the NFL, having played quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons , Green Bay Packers , New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings . Favre is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 70,000 yards, over 500 touchdowns, over 300 interceptions, and over 10,000 pass attempts. He officially retired on January 17, 2011. Favre started at the quarterback position for the University of Southern Mississippi for four years before being selected in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft by Atlanta . He was traded to Green Bay on February 10, 1992, for the 19th pick in the 1992 NFL Draft. Favre became the Packers' starting quarterback in the fourth game of the 1992 season, and started every game through the 2007 season. He was traded to the New York Jets and started at quarterback for the 2008 season before signing with the Vikings on August 18, 2009 as their starting quarterback.

Eddie Hodges is a United States former child actor and recording artist who left show business as an adult. Hodges was born in Hattiesburg,... Mississippi, United States, and traveled to New York City with his family in 1952. This began a long career in show business for Hodges in films, on stage and popular recordings. Hodges made his professional acting debut on stage in Willson's 1957 Broadway musical The Music Man. He made his film debut in the 1959 film A Hole in the Head with Frank Sinatra and Edward G. Robinson, in which Hodges and Sinatra performed a song called High Hopes.When SInatra recorded the song for Capitol records,although it became a solo, Hodges was given a single line in the last verse.Hodges made eight feature films and numerous TV guest appearances. He is probably best remembered for the title role in Michael Curtiz's 1960 film 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which is considered one of the best of the many attempts to film Mark Twain's classic. Both Hodges and his co-star as Jim, Archie Moore, received generally positive reviews for their performances.

Joseph Edgar Foreman , better known by his stage name Afroman, is an American rapper who came to prominence with his singles "Because I Got High" and... "Crazy Rap". "Because I Got High" circulated around the Internet before becoming a hit worldwide. He was nominated for a Grammy award in 2002. Foreman originally started rapping in the eighth grade, when he began recording homemade raps and selling them to his classmates. "The first tape I made was about my eighth-grade teacher," he once recalled. "She got me kicked out of school for sagging my pants, which was a big deal back then. So I wrote this song about her and it sold about 400 copies: it was selling to teachers, students, just about everybody. And I realized that, even though I wasn't at school, my song was at school, so in a way I was still there. All these people would come by my house just to give me comments about how cool they thought the song was." Foreman also performed in his church at a young age, playing both the drums and guitar.

Parks has worked with such notable performers as Grace Kelly, Delaney Bramlett, The Byrds, Loudon Wainwright III, Rufus Wainwright, Harry Nilsson, Silverchair, Ry Cooder, Joanna Newsom, Inara George, Keith Moon and Ringo Starr. In addition to producing, Parks has released six studio albums of his own recordings: Song Cycle, Discover America, Clang of the Yankee Reaper, Jump!, Tokyo Rose, and with Brian Wilson, Orange Crate Art. He has also released a live album Moonlighting: Live at the Ash Grove. Born in 1943 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and reared in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Parks attended the American Boychoir School '57 in Princeton, New Jersey. He began his career as a child actor. Between 1953 and 1958 he worked steadily in films and television, including the 1956 movie The Swan . He appeared as Ezio Pinza's son Andrew Bonino on the NBC television show Bonino.

Blind John Davis was an African American, blues, jazz and boogie-woogie pianist and singer. He is best remembered for his recordings including "A... Little Every Day" and "Everybody's Boogie". Davis was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but he relocated with his family to Chicago at the age of two. Seven years later he had lost his sight. In his early years Davis backed Merline Johnson, and by his mid-twenties he was a well known and reliable accompanying pianist. Between 1937 and 1942, Davis recorded with Big Bill Broonzy, Sonny Boy Williamson I, Tampa Red, Merline Johnson, and others, playing on many recordings of that time. He also waxed several efforts of his own, using his own lightweight voice. After playing on various earlier recording sessions with him, in the 1940s Davis teamed up with Lonnie Johnson. Recording later on his own, "No Mail Today" became a minor hit for Davis. Most of Doctor Clayton's later recordings featured Davis on piano. He toured Europe with Broonzy in 1952, the first blues pianist to do so.

Fred Armisen is a U.S. actor, comedian and musician best known for his work as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, and portraying off-color... foreign characters in various comedy films such as EuroTrip, Anchorman and Cop Out. With Carrie Brownstein, he is the cocreator and costar of the IFC sketch series Portlandia. Armisen was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and moved to Manhattan, New York City as a baby. He was raised in Valley Stream, New York, on Long Island. His mother, Hildegardt, a school-teacher, is Venezuelan, and his father, who worked for I.B.M., is German and Japanese. He attended the School of Visual Arts before dropping out to begin a career as a rock drummer. He has mentioned watching the bands The Clash and Devo perform on television, and wanting to be a performer since he was a child. In 1984, Armisen played drums in a local band along with his high school friends in Valley Stream, New York, but the group ended soon after. Armisen began his career in 1988 when he moved from New York to Chicago to play drums for the punk rock band Trenchmouth. In the 1990s, he played background drums with the Blue Man Group in Chicago.
