Dwayne Douglas Johnson , also known by his ring name The Rock, is an American actor and professional wrestler who is signed to the WWE, featured on... its Raw brand. He is often credited as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Johnson was a college football player. In 1991, he was part of the University of Miami's national championship team. He later played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and was cut two months into the 1995 season. This led to his decision to become a professional wrestler like his grandfather, Peter Maivia, and his father, Rocky Johnson. He gained mainstream fame as a wrestler in World Wrestling Entertainment , originally known as the World Wrestling Federation , from 1996 to 2004, and was the first third-generation superstar in the company's history. Johnson was quickly given a push as a heroic character in the WWF, originally billed as "Rocky Maivia", and then as "The Rock". He would subsequently turn into a villain as a member of the Nation of Domination in 1997.

James Blanco "Jim" Martin , known professionally as Big Jim Martin, is an American guitarist best known for his membership in the rock band Faith No... More from 1983 to late 1993. Martin also played guitar with the groups EZ-Street, Vicious Hatred, Agents of Misfortune, Recluse, and Pigs of Death. Martin was known for his long hair, bushy beard, and trademark red-rimmed glasses that he wears alone or over another darker pair of glasses. In the early '80s Martin was playing guitar in thrash band Vicious Hatred. During the 80s he was an on-off member of the jamming band Spastik Children, also featuring schoolmate and close friend Cliff Burton, and other members of Metallica. Martin joined Faith No More in 1983, two years after the group's formation. He played on their albums We Care a Lot, Introduce Yourself, their breakthrough album The Real Thing with new vocalist Mike Patton replacing Chuck Mosely, and Angel Dust. Following the release of Angel Dust, Martin left the group for reasons that remain unknown. On his now-defunct website, Martin stated The Real Thing was FNM's ideal album, both in the creative process and the touring afterward.

He is the vocalist for the punk band T.S.O.L. , which emerged from the... 1980s Los Angeles punk rock scene, along with Black Flag, Circle Jerks and Social Distortion. Grisham has also fronted the bands The Joykiller, Tender Fury and Cathedral of Tears. He currently records with T.S.O.L. and Jack Grisham and the West Coast Dukes. Grisham was born in San Francisco. His father, who died in 1984, was a career military man who spent 30 years in the Navy and Coast Guard. Grisham's mother was a military housewife. Grisham was one of five children and has an older sister, two older brothers, and a younger sister. Grishams older sister was part of the hippie subculture . As a result, by the time he was six years old, Grisham was reading publications like Fritz the Cat and Zap Comix, and listening to albums by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan. Grisham cites the albums We're Only in it for the Money and Let it Bleed as two of his musical influences.
