Heaven 17

Arista was an American record label. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment and operated under the RCA Music Group. The label was founded in 1974 by Clive Davis, who formerly worked for CBS Records . Until its demise in 2011, it was a major distributor and promoter of albums... throughout the United States and United Kingdom. After being fired from CBS Records, Clive Davis was hired by Columbia Pictures to be a consultant for the company’s record and music operations. Assuming the presidency of this division in late 1974, Davis would fold the various Columbia legacy labels into a new entity named Arista Records, ultimately buying a percentage of the company from Columbia Pictures. The label was named Arista after New York City's secondary school honor society . In early 1975, most of the artists who had been signed to Bell were let go, except David Cassidy , Tony Orlando and Dawn , and The 5th Dimension .

Cleopatra Records is a Los Angeles-based independent record label. Founded in 1992 by Brian Perera, it specializes in gothic rock, hard rock, heavy metal and reissues of out-of-print music. It is known for its compilations, usually collections of cover songs performed by bands signed to the label.... In the mid-1990s, Cleopatra released tribute albums of goth, techno, industrial bands covering artists such as The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Sisters of Mercy, and New Order. Other goth and industrial acts were compiled to cover songs by AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins , Guns N' Roses, and the arguably un-coverable Dead Can Dance and Skinny Puppy Current and previous notable artists include Gary Numan, Kat Parsons, Electric Hellfire Club, Switchblade Symphony, Leæther Strip, X Marks the Pedwalk, Mephisto Walz, Kill SwitchKlick, Information Society, Heaven 17, Download, Rozz Williams, Missing Persons, Razed In Black and Blackburner.

Ninthwave Records is a U.S. synthpop record label founded in 2001. Ninthwave Records is an independent record company specializing in electronic pop. It was founded in 2001 as part of Lexicon Magazine but was made a separate company upon the magazine's demise. The label has released albums by... Heaven 17, White Town, The Electroluvs, Ganymede, Empire State Human NASA, Spray, POP INC, Space March and other bands like Alan Replica. Together with A Different Drum, the label has been one of the few US record labels to release modern synthpop, a genre often overlooked by even small indie labels. The first albums released under the name “Ninthwave Records” were CD samplers given away with Lexicon magazine. There is debate as to the first proper commercially released album by the label. According to its own catalog NASA’s Remembering the Future is first, but Ganymede’s After the Fall came out first due to production delays with the NASA album. Anthems for the Young At Heart by Gary Flanagan is a “limited edition” CDR. In September 2005 the label released Before/After by the UK band Heaven 17.
