The Hunter Beacon Hill 20430 uses a high-output motor, according to the manufacturer, that makes the fan applicable for small- to medium-size rooms. The 42-inch unit has a design that allows for installation in regular, low, or angled ceiling situations. The fan includes what the manufacturer calls a WobbleFree canopy system that incorporates a self-aligning trilobular mounting ball that reportedly maintains even contact with the canopy to eliminate stress points that cause wobble. This same system has a large circular mounting plate and an angled canopy lip that are said to make mounting simple and easy on the hands. The fans base is an antique brass finish and incorporates five fan blades that are reversible between rosewood and medium oak finishes. The fan comes with a three-light fixture (60-W bulbs) and frosted glass shades, but can be installed without the light fixture. The glass shades twist and click into place, thus not requiring screws or grommets.
