The Helme-Worthy Store and Residence is a home and attached storefront in Huntington Beach, California. It is listed as a historic structure on the... National Register of Historic Places. It was constructed in 1903-1904 and was the residence and business of Matthew E. Helme, one of the founders of the city of Huntington Beach and a former mayor. Today, the buildings are still owned by descendents of Helme. The storefront is now an antique store, M.E. Helme Antiques.

Patrick John Warburton is an American actor of television, film, and voice. He is known for his several TV roles, including the title role of The... Tick, David Puddy on Seinfeld, the evil Johnny Johnson on NewsRadio, and anchorman Jeb Denton on Less Than Perfect. As a voice actor, his distinctive deep voice has been lent to well-known roles including Ken in Bee Movie, Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove and its sequels, bodyguard Brock Samson on The Venture Bros., paraplegic police officer Joe Swanson on Family Guy, Steve Barkin on Kim Possible, Buzz Lightyear in the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series, and The Wolf in Hoodwinked, among others. He currently stars as macho married man Jeff Bingham in the CBS television program Rules of Engagement. Warburton was born in Paterson, New Jersey. His mother, Barbara Lord , is an actress, and his father, John Charles Warburton, Jr., is an orthopedic surgeon. He has three sisters, Mary, Lara, and Megan. He was raised in a "conservative" Catholic family, and grew up in Huntington Beach, California, where he attended Saints Simon and Jude Catholic School until high school.

David Lee Abbott is an American mixed martial arts fighter and former professional wrestler. He has described his fighting style, which he developed... brawling in the bars and streets of Huntington Beach, California, as "street fighting". Abbott was the first fighter to regularly wear what would be known as traditional MMA gloves in the UFC. Abbott was a frequent participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship . Abbott made his mixed martial arts debut in 1995 at UFC 6 Clash of the Titans in Casper, Wyoming. In his opening fight, he knocked out John Matua, who weighed 400 lb, in 18 seconds. Later that night he fought Oleg Taktarov for over 17 minutes before succumbing to a rear naked choke. Both men collapsed in exhaustion after the fight, and Taktarov had to be carried out of the cage. In his first 4 UFC tournament appearances, Abbott advanced at least 1 round in all of them. Around the same time the UFC began switching away from the tournament format, his fortunes declined, as he won only 2 of 5 bouts in '97-'98 before retiring from MMA.

James Michael "Jimmy" Bennett is an American actor and musician. He is known for his roles as a child actor in Daddy Day Care, Hostage, Poseidon,... and more recently in Orphan and as young James T. Kirk in Star Trek. He also starred in No Ordinary Family as JJ Powell, a teenager gifted with vast intelligence after a plane crash. Bennett was born in Seal Beach, California and now lives with his parents and his sister in Huntington Beach, California, where the family runs a hard rock themed crepe restaurant. When not acting, Bennett plays guitar and sings on his official YouTube channel. He also wrote and performed the song Summer Never Ends which can be heard at the end of Shorts. Bennett appeared in nearly 30 commercials, as well as in episodes of the television series The Guardian and Strong Medicine, before being cast in the role "Tony", the boy who wants to be The Flash, in the Eddie Murphy comedy Daddy Day Care. He had smaller roles in the movies Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and "Arthur Hailey's Detective".

Brian went pro after only a few years on a board, brian sumner Brian traveled to America and made his US debut in the skate video The End and One Step Beyond by Adio shoes. He filmed for the first Baker video and also appeared in Baker 2g. Brian can be seen in many 411 movies and other such known skate videos. Brian spent many summers traveling the US on Tony Hawks Gigantic skate park tour. Brian is an avid Bruce Lee fan. In 2001, he released an instructional video called "The Tao of Skateboarding." Brian was a stunt double for Adam Brody in the movie Grind and also made a cameo appearance as himself. He was also in Sleepover where he jumped over a fountain with a rubber mask on. He has also appeared in other movies and music videos. He is married and has an 8-year-old son and a 19-month-old girl. Brian Sumner's son appears in Birdhouse Skateboards' "The Beginning" video.

Brian Carroll , better known by his stage name Buckethead, is a guitarist and multi instrumentalist who has worked within several genres of music. He... has released 35 studio albums, four special releases and one EP. He has performed on over 50 more albums by other artists. His music spans such diverse areas as progressive metal, funk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, ambient, and avant-garde music. Buckethead is famously known for wearing a KFC bucket on his head, emblazoned with an orange bumper sticker that read FUNERAL in capital black block letters, and an expressionless plain white costume mask. More recently, he switched to a plain white bucket that no longer bore the KFC logo, but has since switched back to his trademark KFC bucket. He also incorporates nunchucks and robot dancing into his stage performances. An instrumentalist, Buckethead is best known for his electric guitar playing.

James Lee Irvin is an American mixed martial artist who has competed as a Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and currently as a Heavyweight. He is a... former World Extreme Cagefighting heavyweight champion. He holds notable wins over Houston Alexander and Luiz Cané. Irvin defeated Hector Ramirez at UFC 65 via TKO in the second round after dropping Ramirez with a body kick and finishing the fight on the ground with elbows. Irvin faced UFC newcomer Thiago Silva on May 26, 2007 at UFC 71. He lost after injuring his knee during a takedown attempt in the first round. Irvin won a disqualification victory over the formerly undefeated Luiz Cané at UFC 79 after he was illegaly kneed in the head by Cané. On April 2, 2008, Irvin fought Houston Alexander as the opening fight on the main card of UFC Fight Night: Kenny Florian vs Joe Lauzon, knocking Alexander out with a superman punch in 8 seconds. The 8-second knockout tied the record of fastest knockout in UFC history until UFC 102, where Todd Duffee broke the record with a 7-second KO.

Amy Grabow is an American actress. Amy Grabow grew up in Huntington Beach, California. Amy decided, while still in high school, to pursue an acting... career. She studied at the Academy for the Performing Arts in Huntington Beach and currently attends acting classes. Her television credits include: "Charmed," "Mad TV," "Monk" and "Saved by the Bell: New Class." Brian Elwin Haner, Jr. , better known by his stage name Synyster Gates or simply Syn, is an American musician, best known for being the lead... guitarist of the American heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Haner attended Mayfair High School in Lakewood, but he later transferred and graduated from Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, California. He studied at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood as part of the Guitar Institute of Technology program, studying jazz and classical guitar. After a year or so of being there, he got a phone call from The Rev asking him if he wanted to join his band, as lead guitarist. Haner joined rather than continuing his education and becoming a studio musician. Up until that time he was primarily self-taught by watching music videos and reading books. His father, Brian Haner, Sr., also known as "Guitar Guy," is a songwriter, guitarist and comedian. Gates is of Spanish, Cherokee and German descent. Gates joined Avenged Sevenfold together with his best friend, The Rev, when they were 18 in 1999, right after the recording of the band's first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet.

Aaron Embry is an American songwriter and record producer. He is the firstborn son of screenwriter / talent manager Karen Embry and dental... technician H. Charles Randall. He is the eldest brother of actor Ethan Embry and photographer Kessia Embry. Embry has written, recorded, and/or performed with a diverse roster of mainstream musical artists including Daniel Lanois, Jane's Addiction, Elliott Smith, Willie Nelson, Alex Ebert, Scott Weiland, Emmylou Harris, and he is the leader of the indie-rock group Amnion. In February 2008, Amnion released their debut full-length album "AmenNamO". In March 2009, Aaron wrote an original score to Yukio Mishima's 1966 silent short Patriotism. In 2009, Embry produced and recorded the debut album of Long Beach-based band Avi Buffalo for Sub Pop Records at his home studio "Hunter's Hollow" in Glassell Park, CA. From July 2010 through September 2011 Aaron was the touring pianist with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Chanda Leigh Gunn is an American ice hockey player. She won a bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics. At the games in Turin, she played close to... 250 minutes and had 50 saves with a save percentage of 89.3%. In the 2003-04 season, Chanda Gunn was in her senior season led the Huskies to eight wins. In doing so, she broke two school records: registering 56 saves in a game and twice recording 23 saves in one period. In addition, she finished the season ranked first nationally in save percentage, with a .940 mark, and tenth in the nation with a 1.94 goals-against average. During the season, she was recognized twice as Hockey East Player of the Month. She ranked first in the conference in save percentage and third in goals-against average with a 2.01 GAA. During her career, Gunn was a finalists for College Hockey's Humanitarian Award, presented annually to college hockey's finest citizen, in 2003 and 2004. Since the 2007–2008 season, Gunn is an assistant coach at Northeastern University under head coach Laura Schuler.
