Akari Kaida is a video game music composer. She has composed musical scores for Capcom games including Resident Evil, Dino Crisis and Ōkami.... is occasionally credited as Akari Groves, taking the last name of her husband. Kaida was a jazz piano major in college, spending her first year at the Osaka College of Music before joining Capcom in 1994. She became a freelance composer in 2005, but still continued to work on various Capcom projects, most recently becoming part of the Inti Creates sound team for Mega Man games.

Kenichiro Fukui is a Japanese video game composer and musician. Before working at Square Enix, he was employed at Konami. He is an arranger and a... keyboardist in the band The Black Mages, formed in 2003. Additionally, Fukui arranged Angela Aki's "Kiss Me Good-Bye" from Final Fantasy XII. In October 2007, he left Square Enix to become a lecturer, although he still works with The Black Mages. His Konami Kukeiha Club nickname was "Funiki Fukui". Fukui joined the video game company Konami in 1990. He worked on the compositions of "Lethal Enforcers" and "Gakumon no Susume". He was in charge of the keyboard in the KuKeiHa CLUB, and played in the live event at the Budokan in Tokyo. In 1995, he moved to Osaka to join "Solid", a subsidiary of Square . He then transferred to Tokyo. While at Square, he worked on such compositions as "Einhänder" and "Front Mission 5: Scars of the War", and managed such arrangements as "Final Fantasy VII Advent Children" and "Hanjuku Hero".

Takamasa Ishihara better known by his stage name Miyavi , is a Japanese visual kei musician. His work as guitarist for Dué le Quartz and his... successful solo career have established him as an accomplished musician in the Japanese music scene. Miyavi was born in Nishikujo, Japan to a Japanese mother and second-generation Zainichi Korean father. While young, he moved to Kawanishi in Hyōgo Prefecture. Miyavi says that as a child, he was a good student and enjoyed playing soccer. At 15, Miyavi bought his first guitar and a multi-effector from money he had saved up himself and began writing music after a soccer injury left him unable to play. In 1999, at the age of 17, Miyavi joined the visual kei band Dué le Quartz where he was credited under the name, Miyabi. Upon Dué le Quartz's dissolution in 2002, he announced that his plan to initiate a solo career and changing his name to Miyavi, releasing his debut album Gagaku soon after.
