Tyra Banks was born in Inglewood, California. She is the daughter of Carolyn , a medical photographer, and Donald Banks, a computer consultant. She has a brother, Devin, who is five years older. In 1980, when Banks was 6 years old, her parents divorced. Banks attended John Burroughs Middle School and graduated in 1991 from Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles. She was accepted by USC and UCLA but declined to attend, instead pursuing a career in modeling. Tyra Banks is one of four African Americans and seven women to have repeatedly ranked among the world's most influential people by Time magazine. Banks began modeling in the 11th grade.

Pierce was raised in Inglewood, California where he was the star of Inglewood High School's basketball team during his junior and senior years.

Marques Barrett Houston is an American R&B singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. A member of the R&B singing group Immature/IMx until 2002,... he went solo in 2003. He is also the cousin of J-Boog, former member of the R&B/Hip-Hop group B2K. Born in Inglewood, California to Michael and Carolyn, Houston lost his mother to lymphoma in 1997. This affected him deeply: he wrote songs about his mother's battle with the disease and her eventual death, including the song "All Alone" on Immature's album The Journey. Houston became a founding member of the R&B group Immature, known from 1999 as IMx. The group included Jerome "Romeo" Jones and Don "Half Pint" Santos , with Chris Stokes acting as their manager. At this period Houston went by the nickname "Batman". The group released four albums under the name Immature. In 1999, the group underwent a name change but continued on to release two albums under the name IMx: Introducing IMx and IMx . The group also branched out into film and television before disbanding in 2002.

Omari Ishmael Grandberry better known as Omarion, is an American R&B singer, actor, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and former lead singer... of the R&B group, B2K. Omarion was spotted at a young age by a manager, Christopher B. Stokes, who took a liking to his vocal abilities. This led to forming the group B2K, which disbanded after being successful for a few years. His third album Ollusion was released January 12, 2010 with the lead single I Get It In. Born in Watts, California, to Leslie Burrell and Trent Grandberry, Omarion is the oldest of seven children. At school he captained his football team and was also known for his slick dance moves. Although he dropped out of school midway, Omarion began to perform at age five. He was part of 'UAC' but soon disbanded as he wanted to focus on his talent, hip-hop. Before he made it into the music business, he was in commercials for Kelloggs Corn Pops and McDonald's. He also made cameos in the R&B girl group Before Dark's music videos. He embarked on a career in music. The smooth harmony singing that formed an integral part of the band B2K, helped him establish a solo career.

Barry Jay Minkow is a former businessman, pastor and convicted felon. While still in high school, he founded ZZZZ Best , which appeared to be an... immensely successful carpet-cleaning and restoration company. However, it was actually a front to attract investment for a massive Ponzi scheme. It collapsed in 1987, costing investors and lenders $100 million—one of the largest investment frauds ever perpetrated by a single person, as well as one of the largest accounting frauds in history. The scheme is often used as a case study of accounting fraud. After being released from jail, Minkow became a preacher and a fraud investigator, and spoke at schools about ethics. This all came to an end in 2011, when he admitted to helping deliberately drive down the stock price of homebuilder Lennar and was ordered back to prison. Minkow grew up in a Jewish family in Reseda in the San Fernando Valley. When he was nine years old, his mother got him a job as a telemarketer with the carpet-cleaning business where she worked.

Lisa Moretti is a retired American professional wrestler. She is best known for her appearances with World Wrestling Entertainment between 1999 and... 2005 under the ring name Ivory. Moretti, however, began her career in the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling professional wrestling promotion, where she wrestled as Tina Ferrari from the mid-to-late 1980s. She then debuted in the World Wrestling Federation in 1999 as the manager for the team of Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown. She won the WWE Women's Championship twice before becoming a part of the Right to Censor, an alliance of wrestlers with conservative views, and winning the title for a third time. In her later years with the company, she only wrestled sporadically. She did, however, co-host WWE Experience and act as a trainer on WWE Tough Enough. After being released in 2005, she wrestled a few matches on Women Superstars Uncensored, winning two other titles, and Moretti was also inducted into the WSU Hall of Fame. She also began working in the landscaping industry and volunteering with her local animal shelter.

As a comedienne and actress, Lawrence is known for her work on The Carol Burnett Show, of which she was a part from 1967 to 1978.

Esther Jane Williams is a retired American competitive swimmer and MGM movie star. Williams set multiple national and regional swimming records in... her late teens as part of the Los Angeles Athletic Club swim team. Unable to compete in the 1940 Summer Olympics because of the outbreak of World War II, Williams joined Billy Rose's Aquacade, where she took on the role vacated by Eleanor Holm after the show's move from New York City to San Francisco. There, she spent five months swimming alongside Olympic swimmer and Tarzan star, Johnny Weissmuller. It was at the Aquacade that Williams caught the attention of MGM scouts. After appearing in several small roles, alongside Mickey Rooney in an Andy Hardy film, and future five time co-star Van Johnson in A Guy Named Joe, Williams made a series of films in the 1940s and early 1950s known as "aquamusicals", which featured elaborate performances with synchronized swimming and diving. From 1945 to 1949, Williams had at least one film listed among the 20 highest grossing films of the year.
