Overview
Juggle.com, an online encyclopedia and reference guide, seeks a computer science or computer engineering student currently enrolled in a four-year university program to serve as an engineering intern at our St. Louis Metro East office location. We are a young and vibrant company that is constantly growing and expanding, so the internship could possibly turn into a full-time position later on down the road. Either way, it will be a valuable learning experience, working within Web-based enterprise on a variety of computer engineering projects.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a motivated college student to serve as an intern to our computer engineers. The internship can be for hours of college credit or for pay. You should have a desire to enter the world of online business, and an interest in the inner workings of a successful enterprise, as well as the raw talent to take on technical skills quickly. We are a unique corporate culture, not your typical office, so you should also fit in well with our atmosphere and attitude.
Your Skills and Responsibilities
You should be studying computer engineering or computer science at a four-year university, or have studied in a two-year program with the intention of completing a bachelors degree. You should have some experience with programming languages, including some if not all of the following:
- XML
- TCP/IP
- NFS
- PHP
- Java
- SQL/MySQL
- .NET
Some experience in business classes is a plus.
What You Will Learn
Working with our expert staff, you will learn how a computer engineer fits into the larger picture of running an online enterprise. In addition, working with other interns and employees, you will increase your knowledge of:
- Web design and development: HTML, CSS, XML
- Online Marketing: SEO, PPC, Social Media
Location
Juggle.com is located in Belleville, IL, ten minutes east of downtown St. Louis in the Metro East.
