Reggie Nelson is an American professional football player who is a safety for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League . He attended Palm Bay High School in Melbourne, and was a standout high school football player for the Palm Bay Pirates. He was teammates with Joe Cohen and Xavier Carter. Nelson was a two-time first-team All-State honoree, and helped lead Palm Bay to win Florida Class 4A state championship as a safety and return specialist in 2002. As a senior, Nelson averaged forty-five yards per punt return and 26.8 yards per kickoff return, totaling a state record 1,531 return yards.

Marcedes Alexis Lewis is an American football tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League . He played college football for UCLA, was recognized as an All-American and won the John Mackey Award. He was the first-round pick of the Jaguars in the 2006 NFL Draft, and has... played for them since 2006. Lewis was born in Los Alamitos, California. He graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where he was teammates with Winston Justice, Darnell Bing, Manuel Wright, and Hershel Dennis, all who chose to attend rival USC. He also competed in a nationally televised game against De La Salle of Concord, California in 2001 against future college and pro teammate Maurice Jones-Drew. As a senior, Lewis was named as a Parade All-American and was considered a top prospect by all major recruiting services. Lewis played four seasons for UCLA of the Pacific 10 Conference. In 49 games with the Bruins, he started 32 times. He ranks ninth on the school’s overall career-record list and first among tight ends with 126 receptions, holding the UCLA tight end all-time records with 1,571 yards receiving and 21 touchdowns.

Matthew Jones is a former American football wide receiver . He was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and retired officially in November 2010. He played college football at Arkansas. Jones was born to Steve and Paula Jones on April 22, 1983 in Fort Smith,... Arkansas. His family soon moved to Van Buren, Arkansas where Matt was raised. He attended Van Buren Schools until his senior year. In high school, Jones was a quarterback at Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, as well as a sprinter on the school track team. He was also a member of the drama club at NHS and was an active participant in the "Keep Northside Red" campaign, which is an annual blood drive held on the Northside High School campus. Jones was a finalist for the KNWA's "Athlete of the Year" award but did not win. Jones was awarded with the "Hooten's Arkansas Football" Ft. Smith Northside Outstanding Student award as a senior at FSNHS. This award is for the most honorable student both on and off the playing field at FS Northside. Jones was also awarded the key to the city in Ft. Smith for his outstanding work with the local Boys & Girls Club.

Shahid Khan is a Pakistani-born American businessman. Khan was born in Lahore, Pakistan, and moved to the United States when he was 16 to... study at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. He said he spent his first night in a $2/night room at the Champaign YMCA and that his first job in the United States was washing dishes for $1.20 an hour. He joined the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the school. He graduated from the UIUC School of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering with a BSc in 1971. Khan worked at the automobile manufacturing company Flex-N-Gate while attending the University of Illinois. When he graduated he was hired as the engineering director for the company. In 1978, he started Bumper Works, which made car bumpers for customizing pickup trucks and body shop repairs. The transaction involved a $50,000 loan from the Small Business Loan Corporation and $16,000 in his savings. In 1980 he bought his former employer Flex-N-Gate, bringing Bumper Works into the fold.

The team's victory on January 11, 1970 remains the club's last championship game victory and appearance to date.

On August 5, 1967, they became the first ever AFL team to defeat an NFL team after beating the Detroit Lions 13–7, in a preseason game. However, the Broncos were not successful in the 1960s, compiling a record of 39–97–4 in the league.
