The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1991, they started play in 1993 and are in the West Division of the National League. The team is named after the Rocky Mountains. The Rockies play their home games at Coors Field in downtown Denver.... After previous failed attempts to bring the Major League Baseball to Colorado , by the late 1980s a team seemed to be a possibility in Denver. The Colorado Baseball Commission, led by banking executive Larry Varnell, was successful in getting Denver voters to approve a 0.1 percent sales tax to help finance a new baseball stadium. Also, an advisory committee was formed in 1990 by then-Governor of Colorado Roy Romer to recruit an ownership group. The group selected was led by John Antonucci, an Ohio beverage distributor, and Michael I. Monus, the head of the Phar-Mor drugstore chain. Local and regional companies—such as Erie Lake, Hensel Phelps Construction, KOA Radio, and the Rocky Mountain News—rounded out the group.

Saint Joseph's University is a private, coeducational Roman Catholic Jesuit university located partially in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia and partially in Lower Merion Township and located in the Pennsylvania Main Line, Pennsylvania, United States. Sellersville is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,249 at the 2010 census. Sellersville is part of Pennridge School District. Sellersville is located at 40°21′31″N 75°18′36″W / 40.35861°N... 75.31°W / 40.35861; -75.31 . According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.2 square miles , of which, 1.2 square miles of it is land and 0.04 square miles of it is water. It is located in Southeastern Pennsylvania as part of Northern Bucks County which borders Philadelphia County. Sellersville began in the early 18th century. It was centered on a major road known as Bethlehem Pike that connected Philadelphia to Bethlehem and the rest of what was then far Western Pennsylvania. The town was very small and its most notable feature was a large inn. The Inn is today called the Washington House because it is believed to have been visited at least once by George Washington during the Revolutionary War. The town grew slowly over the years until the Industrial Revolution.
