The San Diego Chargers are a professional football team based in San Diego, California. As of 1970 they were members of the Western Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League . The club began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League, and... spent its first season in Los Angeles, California before moving to San Diego in 1961. The Chargers play their home games at Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers continue to be the only NFL team based in Southern California, with no teams in Los Angeles since 1994. The Chargers are the only team to start a season 0–4 and make the playoffs , and the only team to start a season 4–8 and make the playoffs . In addition, they are one of only five NFL teams since 1970 to rank first in overall offense and defense in the same season , but the only team to achieve that feat without making the playoffs. Since the 2004 NFL season, they are also one of only three teams in the NFL to not have a losing record , but the only one of the three that has failed to win the Super Bowl; the other two have won at least one Super Bowl title.

The University of Alabama is a public coeducational university located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, United States. Founded in 1831, it is the flagship university of the University of Alabama System, as well the senior and the largest in terms of enrollment among all of the state's universities. It is... known as The Capstone, a nickname that stems from a 1913 speech by then-president George H. Denny, who extolled the university as the "capstone of the public school system in the state." UA offers programs of study in 13 academic divisions leading to bachelor's, master's, Education Specialist, and doctoral degrees. The only publicly-supported law school in Alabama is at UA. Other academic programs unavailable elsewhere in Alabama include doctoral programs in anthropology, library and information studies, metallurgical engineering, music, Romance languages, and social work. As one of the first public universities established in early 19th century southwestern frontier of the US, UA left a vast cultural imprint on the state, region and nation as a whole for the past two centuries. The school was a center of activity during the American Civil War and the Civil Rights movement.

Cedar Key is a city in Levy County, Florida, United States. The population was 790 at the 2000 census. According to the U.S Census estimates of 2005, the city had a population of 958. The Cedar Keys are a cluster of islands close to the mainland. Most of the developed area of the city has been on... Way Key since the end of the 19th century. The Cedar Keys are named for the Eastern Red Cedar, Juniperus virginiana, which once grew abundantly in the area. While evidence suggests human occupation as far back as 500 BC, the first maps of the area date to 1542, at which point it was labeled "Las Islas Sabines" by a Spanish cartographer. An archaeological dig at Shell Mound, 9 miles north of Cedar Key, found artifacts dating back to 500 BC in the top 10 feet of the 28-foot-tall mound. The only ancient burial found in Cedar Key was a 2,000-year-old skeleton found in 1999. Arrow heads and spear points dating from the Paleo period were collected by Cedar Key historian St. Clair Whitman and are displayed at the Cedar Key Museum State Park.
