Jim Tressel

James Patrick "Jim" Tressel is an American football coach and educator, currently serving as the Vice President of strategic engagement for the University of Akron. He is a former gameday consultant for the Indianapolis Colts, and collegiate football head coach at both Ohio State University from 2001 to 2011 and at Youngstown State University from 1986 to 2000. Tressel is most notable for his time at Ohio State. He was hired by the Buckeyes before the 2001 season to replace John Cooper.
