Volcano Entertainment is an American rock record label founded in 1996 best known for reissuing albums by Scotti Brothers Records and releasing albums by Tool, 311, Survivor and "Weird Al" Yankovic. It is currently a part of Epic Records, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment. Volcano Records... was founded in 1996 by Kevin Czinger. It is essentially the continuation of Zoo Entertainment which Czinger bought from BMG in 1996. Initially, the company was meant to have two divisions Zoo/Volcano and Volcano which would be a hip-hop imprint. The first album released with the new ownership was flagship Zoo artist Tool's album Ænima followed by actor Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar's album Our Little Visionary. However, the Zoo name was eventually phased out and many of Zoo artists became the cornerstone of the Volcano roster. In October 1997, Volcano merged with Dallas Austin's Rowdy Records to become Freeworld Entertainment. Freeworld was short lived as the label was plagued with financial trouble and the relationship with Austin faltered. Many of the label's employees were either cut or left.

TK Records was an American record label started by record distributor, Henry Stone in Miami, Florida, one of several labels that he founded in the 1960s and 1970s. It distributed disco stars, KC and the Sunshine Band until 1981. TK Records is closely associated with soul/R&B and the early rise... of disco music, being the label on which the second bona fide disco song to reach #1 on the pop music charts was released, "Rock Your Baby" by George McCrae in 1974. A little more than a year after McCrae's hit, the record label struck gold with KC & The Sunshine Band with five #1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, including "Get Down Tonight", "That's the Way I Like It", "Shake Your Booty", "I'm Your Boogie Man" and "Please Don't Go", while "Keep It Coming Love" topped the R&B chart as well. Other artists who had an impact on the label, or on one of its many subsidiary labels, include Betty Wright , Benny Latimore , Peter Brown , Foxy, Kracker , Jimmy "Bo" Horne , Timmy Thomas , Gwen McCrae , T-Connection , Bobby Caldwell , and Anita Ward .

Scotti Brothers Records was a California-based record label founded by Tony and Ben Scotti in 1974. Their first success was releasing albums from teen pop star Leif Garrett. They later helped launch the careers of Felony, Survivor, and "Weird Al" Yankovic. They also signed James Brown to a... recording contract in the mid-1980s and the US act 'Flag' featuring Dave Cairns from Secret Affair and Archie Brown. The label, as well as the Scotti brothers themselves, ran an independent motion picture production company Scotti Bros. Pictures, and was associated with the television syndication company All American Television since the company's inception. In 1996, Scotti Brothers Records was renamed All American Music Group. After Pearson PLC purchased All American in 1997, the Scotti Brothers contracts, masters, and catalogs were sold to Zomba Records subsidiary Volcano Entertainment, which was later bought by Sony Music Entertainment.
