LaJourdain J. Birden Sr. is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 8th round of the 1988 NFL Draft. A 5'9", 160-lb. wide receiver, Birden graduated from Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon and the University of Oregon. He played in 9 NFL seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons from 1988 to 1996. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Following his football career, Birden became an executive for Team X88, a distributor of dark chocolate products. He is married with three children and currently lives in Phoenix.
