Hollywood Records is an American record label owned by Disney Music Group, a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company. Hollywood Records was founded in 1989 by then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner with the idea of expanding the music operations of the company and to develop and promote the careers of a... wide variety of artists in various genres. However, the label struggled to launch a successful artist, and in 1991 the label had significant financial loss. The only major success was the agreement to be the catalog distributors of Queen, a fact affected by the death of vocalist Freddie Mercury. Label problems continued and even years after the acquisition of Mammoth Records in 1997 was seen as a sign of the search by Disney for a record label that would give success to the company. However, Mammoth Records was dissolved and integrated into the label in 2003, after little success.

Daylight Records was an American record label and subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, operated through Epic Records. Daylight was founded by David Massey in late 2000 as an Epic Records Group label, and has subsequently signed and helped to develop a broad array of artists, in the process... achieving global sales in excess of 20 million records. Daylight also serves as an A&R resource for all the labels within the Sony Music Label Group family, including Columbia Records Group, Epic Records and RED Distribution.

Fair Trade Services, formerly known as INO Records, is an American record label based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, specializing in Contemporary Christian music . It is distributed through Sony Music Entertainment, and was owned by Integrity Media until June 2011. When Integrity Media sold its... assets to David C. Cook Publishing label founder/President Jeff Mosely purchased the label assets and renamed it FAIR TRADE SERVICES. It was the parent label of SRE Recordings, which concentrated more on Christian rock releases until that label folded with the sale of INO Records to founder Jeff Mosley. All remaining SRE recording artists are now under the banner of Fair Trade Services.

Rock music is a genre of popular music that developed during and after the 1960s, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States. The dominance of rock by white, male musicians has been seen as one of the key factors shaping the themes explored in rock music. Rock places a higher degree of emphasis on musicianship, live performance, and an ideology of authenticity than pop music.
