Julia Blackburn

Julia Blackburn

Julia Blackburn is a British author of both fiction and non-fiction. She is the daughter of poet Thomas Blackburn and artist Rosalie de Meric. A "shield" between her parents, her father once apologised for hitting Blackburn when he intended to strike her mother, she had a greater fear of de Meric. Julia Blackburn's bohemian upbringing is the subject of her memoir The Three of Us .
