The Indianapolis Colts are a professional American football team based in Indianapolis. They are members of the South Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League . The club was officially founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1953, but can trace its history to the... Dayton Triangles, a founding member of the NFL that was originally created in 1913. After a series of changes, it assumed the name Baltimore Colts, replacing a previous team of that name that folded in 1950. Playing at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium, the Colts became the first NFL team to have cheerleaders. The team then relocated to Indianapolis in 1984, first playing at the Hoosier Dome, which was then renamed the RCA Dome, before moving to Lucas Oil Stadium in 2008. The Colts won four NFL championships while in Baltimore. Since moving to Indianapolis, they won Super Bowl XLI in the 2006 season. There have been two football teams named the "Baltimore Colts". The original incarnation of the Baltimore Colts started in the All-America Football Conference in 1946 as the Miami Seahawks.

Baylor University is a private, Christian university located in Waco, Texas. Founded in 1845, Baylor is one of the oldest universities in Texas and was one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River. The university is located in the central part of the state of Texas, an... hour and a half south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and an hour and a half north of Austin, the state capital. Its main 800 plus acre campus is located to the east of the historic area of downtown Waco and the major freeway I-35 on the banks of the Brazos river. Baylor is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In 1841, 35 delegates to the Union Baptist Association meeting voted to adopt the suggestion of Reverend William Milton Tryon and R.E.B. Baylor to establish a Baptist university in Texas, then a self-declared republic still claimed by Mexico. Baylor, a Texas district judge and onetime U.S. Congressman and soldier from Alabama, became the school's namesake. In the fall of 1844, the Texas Baptist Education Society petitioned the Congress of the Republic of Texas to charter a Baptist university.

Fort Worth is the 16th-largest city in the United States of America and the fifth-largest city in the state of Texas. USS Fort Worth  is the first ship of the United States Navy named after the city. Major General William Jenkins Worth was second in command to General Zachary Taylor at the opening of the Mexican–American War in 1846. After the war, Worth was placed in command of the Department of Texas in 1849.
