Stade 24 Novembre, formerly known as Stade Reine Astrid and today Stade Cardinal Malula, is a stadium located in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the... Congo. It opened in 1937 and serves as the home of AS Dragons. It is currently named in honor of the date Mobutu Sese Seko seized power in the country in 1965. It was previously named after Astrid of Sweden and Joseph Malula.

Kaysha, born Edward Mokolo Jr. on January 22, 1974 in Kinshasa, is a singer/rapper and producer that works in places like the West indies, South... America and Africa. He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but immigrated to France with his parents at the age of seven. Kaysha is very well known for his first hit single which uses a sample from West Indian band Kassav's Oulé in a song called "Bounce Baby", which introduced him to fans all over the world. Kaysha's first two hits were "Telephone" and "Bounce baby" from his album I'm Ready. The next year, he changed his entire style to record a more urban album called Worldwidechico with a duo with Wu Tang Clan's Killah Priest. His latest hit to date is "On dit quoi", a huge hit all around Africa, from his album It's All Love, released in his own label Sushiraw. Kaysha is also a successful music producer. He produced songs for the most known artists in the Afro-Caribbean scene, including Passi, Solaar, Jacob Desvarieux, Soumia, Elizio, Ludo, and others. Kaysha gained new fans all around the world by doing literally thousands of shows around Africa, the West Indies and anywhere his feet could take him.

Leroy Halirou Bohari Lita , is a Congolese-born English footballer who plays for Swansea City. Lita was a product of the Chelsea youth system. He... failed to play for Chelsea, and moved to Bristol City and Reading, where his form helped him earn a place with the England under-21 side. He has also played on loan with Charlton Athletic and Norwich City. Born in Kinshasa, Lita signed his first professional contract for Bristol City at the age of 18 at the start of the 2003–04 season, after being discovered by scout Roger Barton. It wasn't until Brian Tinnion took over from Danny Wilson as manager at the start of the 2004–05 season that Lita really established himself in the first team. That year he scored 29 goals in all competitions for club and one U21 international goal taking his tally to 30 for the season. Lita moved to Reading on 13 July 2005 for a then club record fee of £1 million. Lita's potential was confirmed when he hit a hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the FA Cup on 17 January 2006.

Antoine Christophe Agbepa Mumba, also known as Koffi Olomide , is a DR Congolese soukous singer, dancer, producer, and composer. He is also known by... a multitude of other names and aliases. He was born in Kisangani, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His father is Congolese and his mother was born from a Sierra-Leone father and a Congolese mother . According to the ethnic custom of his Sierra-Leone grand father, his mother named him 'Koffi' because he was born on a Friday . Koffi grew up in the city of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in a middle-class family, where education was valued. He was a very bright student. He earned a scholarship and went to study in Bordeaux, France where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics. He is also reported to hold a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Paris. Upon his return to Congo in the 1970s he joined Papa Wemba's band, Viva la Musica, at first as a composer and song-writer, and later as a vocalist and lead-singer. He launched his solo career.

Leki is the first female urban/R&B-pop star to rise out of Belgium. She is known for many hits including "Breakin' Out", "Spread my wings",... "Over the Rainbow", and "Love me another day". She is also a TV presenter on VTM. Leki started at the early age of twelve laying down vocals for Technotronic. At the time, Leki's older sister Ya Kid K was the voice behind Technotronic whose successes include the global mega hit "Pump Up the Jam". In October 2009 she released her fourth studio album "Leki & The Sweet Mints" . Leki is also sensitive to humanitarian projects in Africa where she is the godmother of a young farmers development activity in Uganda. Lately Leki decided to accomplish one of her father's dream: the building of a hospital in his natal village of Malambu in Congo. Via Nanda, the non-profit-making organization she has founded, and under the name "Bouwen aan leven" several initiatives -such as the single "Pecuiar places"- have been taken since 2010 to help raise funds, hoping that the hospital will be operational towards the end of 2013.

Ya Kid K. is a Congolese-Belgian hip hop artist. Her sister, Karoline 'Leki' Kamosi, is an R&B singer. At the age of 11 she moved to Belgium,... later moving to cities in the U.S. such as Chicago, Illinois – where she explored the emerging sounds of hip hop and early house – and Dallas, Texas. After moving back to Belgium from the U.S., she helped form a hip hop label, Fresh Beat Productions. She was part of the dance project Technotronic, which debuted with a major worldwide hit in 1989, "Pump Up The Jam", although her contribution was initially uncredited . Although she wrote the lyrics and sang vocals on "Pump Up The Jam", Technotronic had the blue-lipped fashion model Felly perform in the video. The second single "Get Up " was her debut public appearance with Technotronic. She additionally lent her voice to Hi Tek 3, a dance project whose only single, "Spin that Wheel," appeared on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles motion picture soundtrack.
