Kirksville

Robert Taylor was an American film and television actor. Born Spangler Arlington Brugh in Filley, Nebraska, he was the son of Ruth Adaline and... Spangler Andrew Brugh, who was a farmer turned doctor. During his early life, the family moved several times, living in Muskogee, Oklahoma; Kirksville, Missouri; and Fremont, Nebraska. By September 1917, the Brughs had moved to Beatrice, Nebraska, where they remained for 16 years. As a teenager, he was a track star and played the cello in his high school orchestra. Upon graduation, he enrolled at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska to study music. While at Doane, he took cello lessons from Professor E. Gray, a man whom he admired and idolized. After Professor Gray announced he was accepting a new position at Pomona College in Los Angeles, Brugh moved to California and enrolled at Pomona. He joined the campus theatre group and was eventually spotted by an MGM talent scout in 1932 after production of Journey's End. After Brugh signed a seven-year contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for $35 a week, his name was changed to Robert Taylor.

Christian denomination which began in the USA and has now spread to many countries world-wide. John Richard Wimber was the son of Basil Wimber and Genevieve Estelynn Wimber. Some say he was born in Kirksville, Missouri, while others say he was born in Peoria, Illinois. California death records say he was born in Missouri. He was raised in a non-religious family, but converted to evangelical Christianity in May 1963. He had previously been the keyboard player in the band The Paramours. Some have attributed the formation of the band The Righteous Brothers to Wimber since he was the one who brought Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley together for the band The Paramours in 1962. In the following years he attended a Quaker church in Yorba Linda, California. During this time, he led hundreds of others to convert to Christianity. By 1970, he was leading 11 different Bible study groups that involved more than 500 people.

Her musical career started as a child in her... family's band, The Sally Mountain Show, and has spanned almost four decades. She achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970s and '80s, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music. Vincent was born in Kirksville, Missouri, on Friday, July 13, 1962. She is the oldest of three children, and the only daughter of Johnny and Carolyn Vincent. Her younger brother, Darrin, is a member of the bluegrass group Dailey & Vincent. Rhonda's musical career started when her father bought her a snare drum for her sixth birthday. She played in Queen City, Missouri, in her family's group, The Sally Mountain Show. Rhonda, then age eight, started playing mandolin. She soon excelled and began guitar lessons at ten years old. During her high school and college years, she continued to play in bluegrass groups, but she truly wanted to make it big.

Farrell H. Draper , known professionally as Rusty Draper, was an American country and pop singer who achieved his greatest success in the 1950s. Born... in Kirksville, Missouri and nicknamed "Rusty" for his red hair, he began performing on his uncle's radio show in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the mid 1930s. Draper moved on to work at radio stations in Des Moines, Iowa—sometimes filling in for sports announcer Ronald Reagan—and in Illinois before settling in California. There he began to sing in local clubs, becoming resident singer at the Rumpus Room in San Francisco. By the early 1950s he had begun appearing on national TV shows including The Ed Sullivan Show and Ozark Jubilee . In 1952, Draper signed to Mercury Records and issued his debut single, "How Could You ". The following year, after a national club tour, his cover version of Jim Lowe's "Gambler's Guitar” made No. 6 on both the country and pop charts, and sold a million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.

In later years she worked as a program assistant in academic departments. Anthony attended St. Ignatius College Prep., graduating in 1981. Following high school, Anthony attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, where he graduated with a double-major in 1985, earning a B.A. in French and Communication Arts. Additionally, he studied abroad at the American University of Paris, though it is unknown whether he is an alumnus. In Los Angeles he studied acting technique with Stella Adler, going on to spend a few years at the American Repertory Theater Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, where he performed in over seventeen productions during his tenure.
