Kourtney and Kim Take New York is an American reality television series. As the second spin-off of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it premiered in January 2011 on E! in the United States and Canada. The series follows sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian as they open a D-A-S-H store in New York City. As of January 2012, two seasons have aired. The second season, announced in August 2011, was filmed following Kim's marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries that month. However, the season was reworked to focus more on the couple's troubles after Kardashian filed for divorce in October 2011,... 72 days after the wedding. Kourtney and Kim Take New York will follow Kourtney Kardashian as she leaves Los Angeles once more, this time followed by younger sister Kim, to open a third D-A-S-H store, in New York City. Kim and Kourtney started shooting a second season in August 2011 The second season premiered on November 27, 2011. and gained 3.1 million viewers. For season 1 Kourtney decided that it would be better for her son Mason to not be filmed.
