Tomb of Jahangir, is the mausoleum built for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir who ruled from 1605 to 1627. The mausoleum is located near the town of... Shahdara Bagh in Lahore, Pakistan. His son Shah Jahan built the mausoleum 10 years after his father's death. It is sited in an attractive walled garden. It has four 30 meter high minarets. The interior is embellished with frescoes and pietra dura inlay and coloured marble. The mausoleum features prominently on the Pakistan Rupees 1,000 denomination bank note. The entrance to the mausoleum is through two massive gateways of stone and masonry opposite each other which lead to a square enclosure known as the Akbari Serai. This enclosure leads to another one, on the western side, giving full view of the garden in front of the mausoleum, which is traversed by four-bricked canals proceeding from the centre, and in which many fountains were placed which are now in ruins. The corridor around the mausoleum is adorned with a most elegant mosaic, representing flowers and Quranic verses.

Today, it remains the second largest mosque in Pakistan and South Asia and the fifth largest mosque in the world after the Masjid al-Haram of Mecca, the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. The director of the movie, Mahesh Bhatt defended Meera and appealed to President Musharraf to help the cause of India-Pakistan friendship through exchange of entertainers. The other major controversy surrounding the stunning actress was when she was married for a short term to a Pakistani businessman Atiq-Ur-Rehman, who was already married.

Sultan Muhammad , popularly known as Sultan Rahi, in a Muslim arain family of Saharanpur, was a notable Pakistani film actor who was prominent in... Pakistan in Punjabi films during the 1970s and 1980s. He was mostly popular among people in Punjab, Pakistan and among Sikh and Punjabi community of India. He appeared in more than 700 Punjabi and Urdu-language movies, and is named in the Guinness Book of Records as the most prolific actor. Some of his major films include Maula Jatt, Sher Khan, Chan Veryam, Kaley Chore, and The Godfather. On January 9, 1996 at the time of death, he was 58 years old. Sultan Rahi was an extra in the 1959 film Baghi. Although he struggled for a few years in the early 1960s, playing only a few supporting roles. The turning point came in 1972, when three of his films celebrated diamond jubilees. In 1975 he became an action icon for the lovers of Punjabi films. The year 1979, changed his whole life as his film Maula Jatt became the most successful Pakistani film to date. It broke all records and did wonders for the Pakistani film industry. Rahi worked most often with directors Masood Rana and Younas Malik.

Saeed Khan Rangeela was a Pakistani Lollywood actor, singer and director. His birthname was Mohammad Saeed Khan and he was born in Nangarhar,... Afghanistan. He took a keen interest in bodybuilding and physical exercises as a teenager. He moved to Lahore at a young age and earned his livelihood by painting billboards for the Lahore movie industry. Once, when shooting of a film was taking place, some jolly character was found absent. The director called for Mohammad Saeed Khan to play the part which he did. All those present during the shooting were amused by his style. This way luck made him an actor. Rangeela made his professional cinematic debut in a 1958 Punjabi film Jatti, directed by M.J. Rana. He started playing humorous roles in movies and became very popular. Much later he formed Rangeela Productions to produce his own movies. He not only produced films but also directed his productions, sang songs, and wrote some scripts as well. His movies, to the surprise of many film industry stalwarts, attracted a large number of viewers. The film Diya aur toofan, May 9, 1969, was Rangeela's directional debut.

Fakhar-e-Alam is a Pakistani actor, VJ and singer, popular for introducing the pop/bhangra genre of music in Pakistan. Though he is still... considered a pioneer of pop/bhangra music culture in Pakistan, now he is much more popular for hosting TV shows and appearing in military/governmental sponsored music shows. As a social worker, Alam has a huge fan base and is respected for his untiring relief efforts in the wake of the October 8, 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. Alam was met with amusement in 1993 when he launched an unusual single "Bhangra Pao". These were early years of video music in Pakistan and almost anything sold. The single was the also broadcast on MTV. A previous pop band, Strings were the first Pakistani band to appear on MTV in 1988. Fakhr Alam's great humanitarian work during the 2005 earthquake relief effort propelled him to greater success. He did good work, and most of all showed outstanding leadership qualities.

Chopra married sister of wife of late Bollywood showman Raj Kapoor, and they have three daughters: Rakita, Punita and Prerana. Punita is married to actor, Vikas Bhalla, while Prerana Chopra is married to actor, Sharman Joshi. Among his early films he played Sukhdev in Shaheed, one of his rare positive leading roles. After Teesri Manzil and Upkaar, he was flooded with films as a villain. After Upkaar in 1967, he left The Times of India. He has ever since been a leading villain in Hindi films. The dialogue " Prem naam hai mera, Prem Chopra" from the film Bobby has been very popular.

Nayyar started his... career as a movie music composer by composing the background score for the movie Kaneez . Aasmaan , produced by Dalsukh M. Pancholi was O.P.Nayyar's first film as independent music director, after which he composed music for Chham Chhama Chham and Baaz . He composed music for Guru Dutt's Aar Paar , Mr. & Mrs. '55 , C.I.D. , and Tumsa Nahin Dekha . He composed music for Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon and Mere Sanam. The former movie included his song, Bandaa Parwar, Thaamlo Jigar, while the latter included Jaayiye Aap Kahaan Jaayenge and Pukaarataa Chalaa Hoon Main. Some months later, he scored for the movie, Kashmir Ki Kali. During the 1950s, the state-controlled All India Radio found O.P. too "trendy", and put for quite some time a ban on broadcasting most of his tunes.
