Limkokwing University of Creative Technology is a private international university with a presence across three continents: Africa, Europe and Asia. With its main campus in Malaysia, the university has over 30,000 students from more than 150 countries, studying in its 11 other campuses in Botswana, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lesotho, Swaziland and the United Kingdom. Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing is the founder and president of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Tan Sri Lim has never actually attended a University and has awarded himself with the... title of Emeritus as well as his self-proclaimed “professorship”. His unique and controversial style of management has left him with great successes and also many law suits and disgruntled ex-employees. He established Wings Creative Consultants in 1975. Within 5 years the company grew from 4 employees to 30 and the turnover was RM4 million. In 1988 the company merged with BBDO and the Wings/BBDO alliance was formed. After winning awards with his previous company he continued to do so with his new partners.
