Lincoln College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. It is situated on Turl Street in central Oxford, backing onto Brasenose College and adjacent to Exeter College. Founded in 1427, it is the ninth oldest of the university's 38 colleges. The College was founded on 13 October 1427 by Richard Fleming, then Bishop of Lincoln, to combat the Lollard teachings of John Wyclif.
