Lone Tree is a Home Rule Municipality in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The population was 4,873 at the 2000 census. Lone Tree is located at 39°32′56″N 104°53′33″W / 39.548947°N 104.892546°W / 39.548947; -104.892546. It is on the northern border of Douglas County, and directly adjacent to Arapahoe County.
