This Major League Baseball image was used as the memorial logo of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1978. The team began as the Brooklyn Superbas in 1899, after that, they changed their name to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1911 after which they became the Brooklyn Robins in 1914. Following that they changed their name to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1958.
