heavy weight is occasionally annoying: does not float: shock resistant, but bulbs pop easily

Review: A great flashlight. With new 'white star' bulbs, Maglite is still a great choice for anyone when it comes to a heavy duty spot to flood light.

Review: This is a great brand and the 3 D cell is probably the best for the average user. It is bright enough for every day tasks and not too unwieldy.

Cons:
The reflector should be orange peeled or faceted to remove dark spots in beam.

Review: Highly recommended, best compromise of high output and weight the average joe can afford. Upgradeable for battery life or brightness.
