Game Overview

Mario Party DS is a Party video game for the Nintendo DS. It is the eleventh title in the series , and was released in Japan on November 8, 2007 and in North...

The Good

More than 70 dramatically different minigames, Controls can be picked up in seconds, The touch screen and microphone are put to good use, Plenty of play modes for one player or multiple players, Multiplayer requires only one cartridge.

The Bad

Opponent AI is too rigid, To get the most enjoyment, you need to play against other people, Doesn't offer an online mode like so many other Nintendo games do nowadays.

The Bottom Line

Everything you love about Mario Party...in the palm of your hand! The party boards and minigames are crazier than ever in a new title that shrinks down the whole Mario crew for whimsical party play. Mario Party DS brings back a play dynamic from previous games: putting traps on board spaces. Players can obtain Hexes, such as the Coin Swap Hex, then stick them on board spaces in the hope that other players stop on them.
