Frank Edwin "Tug" McGraw Jr. was a Major League Baseball relief pitcher and the father of Country music singer Tim McGraw and actor/TV personality... Mark McGraw and Cari McGraw. He is likely best remembered for recording the final out, via a strikeout of the Kansas City Royals' Willie Wilson, in the 1980 World Series, bringing the Philadelphia Phillies their first world championship. He was the last active major league player to have played under manager Casey Stengel. McGraw was born in Martinez, California to Frank Edwin "Big Mac" McGraw, Sr. and Mable McKenna. He got the nickname "Tug" from his mother because of the particularly aggressive way he breast-fed. Frank Senior was the great-grandson of Irish immigrants. McGraw graduated from St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Vallejo, California in 1962. He enrolled in Solano Community College, and signed with the New York Mets as an amateur free agent on June 12, 1964 upon graduation. Maurice Benard is an American actor. He is known primarily for his portrayal of romantic mobster Michael "Sonny" Corinthos, Jr. on the ABC soap... opera, General Hospital, a role he has portrayed since 1993. Born Mauricio Jose Morales in Martinez, California and growing up in San Francisco, California, Benard is of Salvadorian and Nicaraguan ethnicity. He started his acting career as Nico on the soap opera All My Children from 1987 to 1990. In addition to guest spots on several television series during the early 1990s, Benard also appeared in television movies including the 1991 CBS television movie Lucy & Desi: Before the Laughter, in which he portrayed Desi Arnaz. He is now starring in an independent film entitled Confession. Filming began in June 2009. Benard has also appeared in several feature films including Ruby and Mi Vida Loca. Benard married Paula Smith on August 11, 1990. They have four children; daughters Cailey Sofia , Cassidy Rose and son, Joshua James . He and his wife adopted his wife's adopted sister, after her mother's death.

Sara Amato is an American professional wrestler, better known by her ring name, Sara Del Rey. She is a mainstay for Chikara and Shimmer Women... Athletes. She has also appeared for many other independent promotions in the United States, including Ring of Honor, IWA Mid-South, All Pro Wrestling, as well as Mexico's Lucha Libre Femenil. Del Rey has also taped several matches, competing under a mask and using the name Nic Grimes, for the MTV promotion Wrestling Society X. Del Rey currently co-holds the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship with Courtney Rush, and is the promotion's first and only double champion, having previously held the SHIMMER Championship. As a child, Amato considered herself a fan of wrestling. Citing Hulk Hogan & The Ultimate Warrior as two of her favorites due to their high energy characters and matches. She did not watch it for several years, but became interested again during high school. Sara admits that in high school, she was 'really shy and kind of awkward and scared of social situations.

Christopher Verdell Singleton is a former center fielder in Major League Baseball. During his six-year major league career , he played for the... Chicago White Sox , Baltimore Orioles , Oakland Athletics and Tampa Bay Devil Rays . During his playing career, his listed height and weight were 6'2", 210 pounds. He batted and threw left-handed. Selected by the Houston Astros in the 30th round of the 1990 Major League Baseball Draft, Singleton opted to attend the University of Nevada. His stock rose considerably over the next three years, and he was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 2nd round of the 1993 Major League Baseball Draft. On November 11, 1997, he was traded by the Giants with pitcher Alberto Castillo to the New York Yankees for Charlie Hayes and cash. On December 8, 1998, the Yankees dealt him to the White Sox for minor leaguer Rich Pratt. Upon reaching the majors in 1999, Singleton hit .300 with 17 home runs and 74 RBI, but his power numbers dropped precipitously each season thereafter.
