Mary Woronov is an American actress and writer. She is primarily known for her roles in independent and cult films. Woronov has appeared in over 80 movies, as well as numerous appearances in mainstream television series, such as Charlie's Angels and Knight Rider. Woronov was born in the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, in the period that it served as the Ream General Hospital during World War II. She is the daughter of Carol Eschholz. Woronov's adoptive father, Victor D. Woronov, was a Russian cancer surgeon. She attended Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn Heights. Mary Woronov... first made headlines in the early 1960s as a Warhol superstar. She danced with Exploding Plastic Inevitable, Warhol's multimedia presentation of the Velvet Underground. Woronov's notable appearances include in the 1975 cult film Death Race 2000 and 1979's Rock 'n' Roll High School , but her breakthrough role was in the 1982 cult film Eating Raoul.
