Mendota Heights is in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. It is a first ring southern suburb of the Twin Cities. The population was 11,071 at the 2010 census. It is one of the wealthiest towns in America; it ranks on the list of highest-income places in the United States with a population of over 10,000.
