Victor H. Perrin was an American actor and voice artist. He is best remembered for having provided the "Control Voice" in the original version of... the TV series The Outer Limits . During the 1940s and 1950s, Perrin was a regular performer on old-time radio, appearing in many shows. He was a regular guest star on the radio version of Gunsmoke and indeed, he wrote at least one script for that show. One of his first TV roles was in a 1953 episode of Adventures of Superman titled "The Golden Vulture", where he played a hapless sailor on board a freighter run by a self-styled pirate. One of his greatest voiceovers, and a true legacy, is that his is the voice used on the AED used all over the nation to save lives. On camera, Perrin played minor character roles on numerous TV series in the 1950s and 1960s including Dragnet, Gunsmoke, Have Gun — Will Travel, The Untouchables, Mannix and Mission: Impossible. He was a regular voice-over in the original Jonny Quest cartoon series . He voiced the villain, The Gimmick, in an episode of Blue Falcon.

Wisconsin is a US state located in the north-central United States and is part of the Midwest and Great Lakes regions. Wisconsin is the 23rd most extensive and the 20th most populous of the 50 United States. Wisconsin's capital is Madison, and its largest city is Milwaukee.... The state is divided into 72 counties. The word Wisconsin originates from the name given to the Wisconsin River by one of the Algonquian speaking American Indian groups living in the region at the time of European contact. French explorer Jacques Marquette was the first European to reach the Wisconsin River and record its name, arriving in 1673 and calling the river Meskousing in his journal. This spelling was later corrupted to Ouisconsin by other French explorers, and over time this version became the French name for both the Wisconsin River and the surrounding lands. English speakers anglicized the spelling to its modern form when they began to arrive in greater numbers during the early 19th century.
